Deidara's supremely arrogant voice echoed through the cavernous cave. Standing on the back of his enormous Explosive Clay bird, he looked down at Shengu Xuan, who had just shattered the Five-Seal Barrier with brute force. Although the power of Shengu Xuan's punch had indeed been somewhat surprising, to Deidara, such purely physical attacks were as laughable and pathetic as a primitive man's tricks before his unparalleled explosive art.
"Art?" With his hands still tucked into his coat pockets, Shengu Xuan tilted his head slightly to look at the blond young man hovering in midair, his face full of fanaticism. An utterly disdainful sneer curled his lips. "You call those hideous little mud toys you make art? Did you sleep through all your art classes at the Ninja Academy?"
"You little bastard! How dare you insult my art!" Deidara could never bear to hear anyone belittle his Explosive Clay. His exposed right eye instantly became bloodshot, and he plunged his hands into the clay pouches at his waist. The two mouths in his palms furiously chewed the white Explosive Clay.
"Shengu! Watch out! That's Deidara, a rogue ninja from Iwagakure! His clay can cause incredibly powerful explosions!" Kakashi's expression changed drastically the instant he saw Deidara's movements. He immediately pulled down his forehead protector, exposing his crimson Sharingan, and shouted a warning to Shengu Xuan.
Granny Chiyo's forehead was also covered in cold sweat as she tightened her grip on the puppet strings in her hands. "You brat from Konoha, don't get too cocky! Every member of the Akatsuki is a monster. You may have broken the barrier just now, but you absolutely cannot take his explosions head-on! Hurry back here and take cover!"
