On the river, now like a vast ocean, Kisame let out a beastlike roar. Once unwrapped, Samehada seemed to come alive in his hands. The densely packed barbs along its blade rose and fell as though breathing, making a spine-chilling hissing sound. The strangest blade in the Shinobi World sensed its master's fury and grew violently agitated as well.
Kisame kicked off the water, shooting toward Shengu Xuan like an arrow loosed from a bow. Gripping Samehada's hilt tightly with both hands, he poured his immense chakra into it without pause. Samehada instantly doubled in size. A gaping maw full of sharp fangs opened at the blade's tip and snapped viciously at Shengu Xuan's head, its terrifying bite powerful enough to tear through steel!
"Die! Let Samehada suck out every drop of your blood and marrow!" Kisame roared, his face twisted.
Faced with this ferocious attack, Shengu Xuan still did not dodge. He stood on the water, his eyes full of boredom and disdain.
"Suck me dry? With that stinking, spiny salted fish?" Shengu Xuan sneered.
He made no fancy moves, nor did he even raise his hands. He simply stood quietly in place, letting that gaping maw bite down on his shoulder.
"Brother Shengu!" Naruto shouted anxiously from a distant tree. The flood had swept him to the bank earlier, and now he could only watch helplessly as Shengu Xuan fell into a "desperate situation."
Got him! Kisame was ecstatic. Once Samehada bit down, even a Tailed Beast would instantly lose a tremendous amount of chakra and life force. This brat with no chakra would definitely be sucked into a dried husk in an instant!
