He slowly lowered his Twin Halberds until their tips touched the ground, scoring two parallel scorch marks across it. The blue-black divine markings on his arms began to glow, sending pulses of light outward like a heartbeat. Each pulse shattered the nightmare monsters that had only just begun to take shape within several meters of him.
Saint Killingham seemed to sense something in his sleep. He frowned, rolled over, found a more comfortable position, and began snoring again. But the flame clouds around him abruptly swelled, four-colored light bursting around them with the brilliance of a blazing sun. Dian Wei's sustained defense was steadily wearing down the nightmare legion's regeneration rate. Instinctively sensing the threat in his sleep, Saint Killingham unleashed another ability.
The floating clouds began changing color, from white to gray, from gray to black, and finally to a murky shade somewhere between purple and black.
