Chen Yu’s Hua Empire conquered Wano Country, Totto Land, and Hachinosu while preparing to attack Mary Geoise. Meanwhile, the Straw Hats encountered Shanks, and Usopp proved himself in a duel with Yasopp.

• Zhang Liao captured Doflamingo, and King Riku accepted Dressyrosa’s incorporation into the Hua Empire as Luffy and Luo departed for Wano Country.
• Lü Bu and Ma Chao invaded Wano Country, killed its defenders and people, and captured Yamato.
• Luffy returned to the devastated Wano and fought Lü Bu, but the battle ended with Wano erased and Nico Robin taken captive.
• Chen Yu executed Kaido and prepared an invasion of Totto Land, where the imperial forces defeated Big Mom’s forces and Chen Yu killed Big Mom.
• Blackbeard attacked Dressrosa, then the Hua Empire invaded Hachinosu and defeated his forces, and Chen Yu killed Blackbeard and renamed the island Justice Island.
• Chen Yu declared Mary Geoise the Empire’s next target as the Straw Hats met Shanks, who challenged Luffy to defeat him before reaching Laugh Tale.
• Usopp fought Yasopp, landed a shot on his rifle trigger, and earned his father’s praise as a true sniper.

The Straw Hats faced Shanks’s crew in a series of trials across the islands, with Franky, Chopper, Brook, Robin, Nami, and Sanji earning their respect. Zoro’s test against Benn Beckman remained unresolved as Beckman prepared the Overlord Bullet and Zoro gathered himself to meet it head-on.

• Franky used General Franky and then reassembled its fragments into a giant steel hand to fight Gab, but fell unconscious after their final clash, and Gab carried him toward the main battlefield.
• Chopper risked his life by taking three Rumble Balls, then used his medical knowledge to guide his heart and reverse the damage, and Hongo gave him medicine, admitted defeat, and said he was qualified to sail with Straw Hat.
• Brook turned Limejuice’s Dead Silence Cage into a living stillness with Requiem Light, struck him with Silent Requiem, and left him sleeping peacefully.
• Robin fought Bunch and Monster through the book maze, but their trust and improvised teamwork defeated her analysis, and Bunch told her the Red Hair Pirates considered her worthy of pursuing the truth at Laugh Tale.
• Nami combined Zeus with her Clima-Tact to counter Snake’s weather attacks, then identified how he synchronized with the island’s instability, and Snake declared that she had passed before she and Zeus collapsed from exhaustion.
• Sanji fought Lucky Roux through the volcanic battlefield, awakened his Lineage Factor, and cracked Roux’s armor before both collapsed, and Roux acknowledged the Straw Hats as qualified to go to Laugh Tale.
• Beckman pressed Zoro with calculated bullets, Gun-Fu, and Conqueror’s Haki fields, while Zoro broke through the suppression with One Great Three Thousand Great Thousand Worlds and grazed Beckman’s hand.
• Beckman loaded the tracking Overlord Bullet and challenged Zoro to shatter it head-on, and Zoro accepted and focused his Haki, stamina, and will into his three swords.

Luffy defeated Shanks and gained the second Road Poneglyph rubbing, while Robin deciphered a slab revealing Imu’s origins and the history of Nika. Chen Yu led Hua Country’s invasion of Mary Geoise, where its commanders fought the World Government’s strongest defenders.

• Zoro and Beckman exhausted each other in a devastating clash, after which Beckman told Zoro the Red Hair Pirates believed Luffy could inspire resistance against the World Government.
• Luffy accepted Shanks’s challenge for the Road Poneglyph rubbing, fought him through Gear Fourth and Gear Fifth, and won the copy after surviving Shanks’s final attack.
• Shanks gave Luffy the rubbing and urged him to fulfill Joy Boy’s promise, while Luffy reunited with his crew and set their sights on finding the remaining Poneglyphs and reaching Laugh Tale.
• Chen Yu’s forces discovered a strange slab in Blackbeard’s secret chamber, and Robin translated its account of Imu, the Devil Fruit Tree, Nika, Joy Boy, and the D. Clan.
• After the slab revealed Imu’s identity, Chen Yu ordered an invasion of Mary Geoise, while Aokiji joined Hua Country as Empire Navy Commander-in-Chief.
• Chen Yu announced the Hua Empire’s campaign, and Bai Qi led the armies through Mary Geoise’s defenses as Fujitora fought Saint Marcus Ziyue and destroyed her with the Black Hole Blade.
• Gan Ning battled Saint Salika in the Nether Hall and defeated him with Kyogre’s Origin Pulse, ending the death aura and leading his army deeper into the ruins.
• Liu Bei fought Saint Nasujuro and Saint Barons at God King Square, trading powerful sword techniques that shattered the square into a crater.

Liu Bei and Hua Country’s fighters defeated several Holy Knights in fierce battles across Mary Geoise. As Lü Bu continued fighting Saint Garling, Kizaru intervened, Zhao Yun joined the battle, and Huang Zhong confronted a hidden figure.

• Liu Bei defeated Saint Ethanbaron V. Nasujuro after countering his White Tiger forms and Azure Flame Purgatory with the Divine Tree and Benevolent King's Way Slash.
• Zhang Liao broke through Chongyue’s Black Tortoise defenses with Zacian’s power, wounded his right arm, and won his passage toward the northern shore.
• Ma Chao awakened Zekrom’s Power of Ideals, tore Imu’s Deep Sea Contract from Saint Maffey, and killed her before leading the Xiliang Iron Cavalry toward Pangaea Castle.
• Chinjao awakened his Rhyperior Fruit, shattered Saint Shepherd Sommers’s thorn cage, and broke his Immortality Contract, then returned badly injured to aid the other fighters.
• Dian Wei defeated Saint Killingham’s Nightmare Qilin, spared the sleeping Holy Knight, and headed toward Pangaea Castle as Bai Qi and Lü Bu pressed their fights.
• Lü Bu battled Saint Figarland Garling through his Kui Ox forms, wounding him with redirected Haki and shadow attacks, but both remained standing after their final collision.
• Kizaru joined Saint Garling against Lü Bu, Zhao Yun arrived to counter Kizaru’s lasers, and Huang Zhong ordered a figure hiding in the shadows to reveal itself.
