"There were... still survivors?"
As Yas's faintly amused voice rang out, everyone aboard the Leviathan followed his gaze toward the center of Bakira Island, which had been reduced to scorched earth.
There was nothing there except curling black smoke and embers that still burned.
Utter silence.
"Survivors? Vice Admiral Yas, could you have sensed wrong?" Brannew asked doubtfully after carefully studying the area through his binoculars for a long while. "Nothing could have survived a thunderstorm like that."
Even Bullet frowned. His powerful Observation Haki had likewise detected no signs of life.
It was as though the island had become one enormous grave.
"No."
Yas shook his head, the interest in his ice-blue eyes growing stronger.
"I didn't 'sense' wrong."
"Your 'levels' are too low to hear... their roars from the depths of hell."
The instant he finished speaking-

An enormous crash erupted from the center of Bakira Island's ruins!
The charred ground, burned into a glasslike surface, suddenly bulged upward before exploding!
Countless rocks and clods of scorched earth shot into the sky!
Before everyone's utterly horrified eyes!
Three terrifying, immensely burly figures, radiating the savage aura of a primordial age, slowly rose from the enormous crater!
Their upper bodies were bare, exposing fearsome muscles that looked cast from steel and brimmed with explosive power!
Their bodies were covered in hideous lightning burns, some deep enough to expose bone. Yet these horrific wounds, enough to kill even a Giant Vice Admiral on the spot, were writhing and healing at a visible, utterly unreasonable speed!
A terrifying aura composed purely of blood, killing intent, and wildness erupted from their bodies, scorching even the surrounding air until it warped!
They weren't human!
Or rather, they weren't entirely human!
Their leader was the tallest, with two thick, hideous, demonlike horns growing
