After Rocks fell, the surviving pirates scattered and formed new ambitions while Yas returned to the Marines. Sengoku and the officers were left stunned by Yas's power, and Sengoku asked who he really was.
After Yas killed Rocks and destroyed the Rocks Pirates at God Valley, the Marines returned to Marineford in triumph, where his overwhelming presence stunned the crowd. Fleet Admiral Kong congratulated Yas and told him the Five Elders wanted to meet him, warning that the victory’s credit would be complicated.
Yas met with the Five Elders, who ordered God Valley erased from history and offered him an honorary Admiral title in exchange for silence. Yas rejected the title and demanded a tangible reward that would make him stronger, leaving the Elders to answer his challenge.
Yas withstood the Five Elders’ Conqueror’s Haki and demanded a reward for his achievements. He rejected their offers of wealth, status, weapons, and secrets, then demanded authority to command Marine resources and create his own loyal Judgment force.
Yas forced the Five Elders to grant him sweeping authority over a personal Marine force, including the power to mobilize local forces and call a Buster Call, in exchange for accepting promotion to Admiral. The World Government announced his new code name, Azure Thunder, and Garp learned that Yas had seized the rank as a tool for his own purposes.
After Yas became the Navy’s new Admiral, his authority and code name shook the world, frightening Kaido and Charlotte Linlin while alarming Dragon. Back at Marineford, Yas received an SSS+ achievement reward for ending the Rocks era, leveling up and unlocking the Azure Thunder Law’s ultimate secret form.
Yas unlocked three powerful divine skills: God's Pure Land, Azure Thunder Flash, and Spear of Divine Punishment. After learning that his Marine Admiral inauguration would take place at Marineford the next morning, he decided to use the ceremony to test his new power and show the world Azure Thunder's justice.
At his inauguration ceremony, Yas faced skepticism from Marine officers over his appointment as Admiral. When the G-1 Branch came under attack, he claimed the mission for himself and challenged anyone who objected.
Yas silenced Sakazuki, Borsalino, and Kuzan’s objections by using God's Pure Land to nullify their Devil Fruit powers, then left for the G-1 Branch alone. A distress call from G-1 erupted into screams as Yas arrived, leaving Sengoku and the others stunned by what was happening there.
Yas arrived at G-1 Branch as a pirate fleet threatened to overwhelm the fortress, then used God's Pure Land to suppress the fleet and punish its pirates. The battle remained underway as Yas prepared to target the fleet's leaders.
Yas used Azure Thunder Flash to kill the leaders of the Destruction-User United Fleet in seconds, leaving G-1 Branch's officers stunned. He then decided to test his new toy on the remaining pirate grunts himself.
Yas unleashed the Spear of Divine Punishment on the pirate fleet gathered off G-1, erasing the fleet and devastating the sea while sparing the fortress. After the stunned Marines arrived, Yas announced that his next target was Impel Down.
Yas declared that Impel Down was his next target and used Divine Punishment to purify its prisoners, then turned his attention to the Holy Land Mary Geoise. The Five Elders watched in terror as Yas announced that the next phase of his spring cleaning would target them.
