A Warm Day
A blue light shone from the palm of his hand that was resting on Hermione's head, and Bell released the mental interference he had been exerting on Hermione.
"Bell, I can still keep going."
Hermione wiped the sweat from her brow and said to Bell.
"Don't be impatient, Hermione. Rome wasn't built in a day, and you can't become fat overnight. The most important thing in mastering magic is consistent practice, which can't be accomplished in a day or two. It took me five years to achieve complete control over my magic, and my sister Shanna took more than three years. So don't be impatient."
Bell comforted his girlfriend with his own experience.
"How are you feeling? Is there anything bothering you?"
Bell noticed that Hermione's face was somewhat pale, and her magical energy fluctuations had decreased. Bell was a little worried about Hermione's health.
"I felt a bit hot and had difficulty breathing before. Now I feel a bit weak and have no energy at all."
Hermione felt like she had just run a 1000-meter race and all she wanted to do was lie down and relax.
"It seems this method is more energy-consuming than I imagined. It's best not to use it for too long at the beginning. Also, Hermione, remember not to rely on this state. Try to remember the feeling of controlling magic so that you can freely manipulate magic even under normal circumstances."
Bell discovered that this method put a greater strain on the body than expected. Or perhaps Hermione's physical abilities were worse than he had imagined?
Bell had used his own Shanna's physical condition at age 8 as a benchmark for his calculations. But now it seems he'll have to think about it carefully when he gets back, to see if there's any way to alleviate some of the side effects.
Hermione carefully noted down every word Bell said and planned to write it down in a notebook when she got back, so she could carry it with her at all times.
Hermione felt very happy. This was the first time someone other than her parents had cared about her so much.
Although Bell had cared for her before, Hermione could clearly sense the difference between now and then.
Bell's concern was for his friends, or you could say for outsiders.
Now, Bell's concern for her is a kind of concern for family.
Hermione could feel Bell's approval of her, which made her feel happy.
On his return, Bell deliberately took a different route than he had taken on the way there.
While enjoying the stroll with Hermione, he also had Hermione turn around the entire interior of the box.
Although there aren't many buildings, so there's no need to worry about getting lost here, some places are still too dangerous for Hermione at her current level. It's best to tell Hermione in advance so she can be careful to avoid them.
"Bell, what place is that?"
Hermione pointed to a building not far away and asked.
The building looked exactly like the previous two Training Room, except that the Training Room were black, while the building was white.
"That's my magic laboratory. It's not a suitable place for you to visit right now; let's do it another time."
Bell said casually.
"Oh..."
Although Hermione was curious about what was inside that magical laboratory and why it wasn't appropriate for her to visit it right now, she figured that since Bell had said so, he must have his reasons.
After wandering around for about an hour, the two finally returned to the house they had started with. It was then that Hermione realized that the house actually had three floors.
When she came out earlier, because it was her first time in Bell's suitcase, Hermione was so captivated by the wonderful scenery that she didn't even look back at what was behind her.
"Bell, what's on the top two floors of this house?"
Hermione asked curiously.
"The second floor is my bedroom, where I sometimes rest when I'm tired. The third floor is the Library, where I keep copies of some magic books that I might need."
"Library!?"
Upon hearing that Bell had a private Library, Hermione, a voracious reader, immediately brightened up.
"Can I go up and take a look?"
Hermione was very curious about what kind of books were in that Library.
Since it's Bell's private Library, it must contain many advanced magic books that she hasn't seen before, right?
"Of course... no."
Bell's heavy breath froze Hermione's expectant smile on her face.
"Sorry..."
Hermione felt she might have been too hasty. Perhaps Bell's Library held some top-secret documents.
She remembered hearing that Pure-blood Family had their own unique collections, and that they would never allow anyone outside the family to see that knowledge.
"You always overthink things. Is this a common problem among academic geniuses?"
Bell reached out and gently flicked Hermione's forehead.
Seeing Hermione's aggrieved look, Bell chuckled and explained, "Today is our first day of dating! Are you really planning to spend it reading books in the Library?"
Bell took Hermione's hand, and the two sat down on the soft sofa.
He held Hermione tightly in his arms and said, "I won't allow that to happen. You're not allowed to study today, you're not allowed to read, you're not allowed to go anywhere, you have to stay by my side."
"Um..."
All the grievances and all the speculations vanished completely at that moment.
Feeling the warmth of Bell's embrace, Hermione didn't want to think about anything else. She only wished time could freeze at this moment, so she could forever feel Bell's warmth and forever experience this feeling of happiness.
Next, the two turned on the Magic Screen and casually watched some programs. When it was almost lunchtime, Bell ordered Lim to prepare a very lavish meal for them.
To celebrate, Bell even sent Ke Ersha back to his castle to retrieve many precious ingredients from the storeroom.
As for his mother's punishment?
Just listen to these kinds of things and that's it!
Just kidding, his own mother loves him so much, how could she really do something so cruel to him?
(Aragog: "So why are we suffering like this?! This is so unfair to the spiders!")
Hermione discovers that Bell always manages to redefine her understanding of food.
Hermione was bombarded with all sorts of dishes, some she'd heard of and some she hadn't, making her worry about her weight while simultaneously unable to resist the urge to devour them all.
After a pleasant lunch and a short rest, the two of them once again left the room and went out onto the grass.
Bell selected some gentle, low-damage Magical Animals and, together with Hermione, fed these adorable little guys and played with them.
It's clear that Hermione really likes these little guys.
Bell remembered that Hermione had mentioned wanting to have a pet, but because the number of Galleon she could exchange was limited and she had used them all to buy books, she hadn't been able to fulfill that wish.
So should he give Hermione a pet as a gift?
However, these Magical Creatures are not really suitable for Hogwarts. Otherwise, even if Professor McGonagall favored Hermione, she wouldn't have let them go unchecked.
("Ouch!" Little Fina in the Ravenclaw Common Room, suddenly sneezed.)
