Talking to Voldemort Was So Much Fun!
For the next week, Bell spent the rest of his time busy packing his suitcase, except for some time each day with Hermione, and didn't even go to class.
In these times of widespread anxiety, it's not just Bell; there are other Little Wizard who spend all their time holed up in their dorm rooms and unwilling to come out.
The professors expressed their understanding. After all, even they didn't really have much energy to focus on teaching.
Of course, this does not include Professor Binns, the professor of A History of Magic who moved the British Wizarding World. The old professor's title of "the most hardworking person in history" is not for nothing!
"Young Master, the target you instructed us to monitor has taken action."
At midnight, Lim suddenly appeared in Bell's dormitory and woke Bell up, who was already asleep.
"What?"
A dazed Bell was somewhat confused about what had happened.
"It's that little Gryffindor Little Witch you had us monitor before. You instructed us yesterday to notify you immediately if she made any unusual movements."
Lim said respectfully.
If her Young Master hadn't specifically instructed her not to disturb Young Master rest, she wouldn't have wanted to.
Bell remembered. After finishing the preparations yesterday, he immediately notified Lim to keep track of the target's movements. He hadn't expected them to act the very next day.
Speaking of this goal, we have to mention Bell ' plans after Halloween.
After receiving Professor McGonagall's confinement punishment, Bell ordered Lim to search for the so-called "Heir of Slytherin." Although he didn't intend to do anything at the time, that didn't stop him from keeping track of the situation; after all, it's better to be prepared, and this came in handy.
Actually, after giving instructions to Lim, Bell had completely forgotten about the matter.
Although Lim seemed very confident, there were still hundreds of Little Wizard at Hogwarts, and the other party would certainly act cautiously. Therefore, Bell didn't actually have high expectations.
Unexpectedly, less than a week later, Lim reported to him that they had found the suspicious-looking Little Wizard.
Bell was very surprised when he learned that the other party was a Gryffindor Little Witch, and the youngest daughter of the Weasley family — Ginny Weasley.
He knew nothing about Ginny Weasley, nor why she did such a thing, or how she did it. But for Bell, there was no need to delve deeper; knowing who she was was enough.
"But seriously, what's wrong with these kids! Why do they always choose to cause trouble in the middle of the night? Aren't they sleepy? Don't they mind the poor lighting? Aren't they afraid of going nearsighted!?"
Bell scratched his head in frustration. But clearly, his complaints wouldn't change anything, so in the end, he could only get up and get dressed and wash up.
"Hey! Little girl! This isn't the time for good kids to be wandering around outside."
Leaning against the doorframe of the Girls' Bathroom, Bell said sleepily.
Why is it the Girls' Bathroom again? Bell wondered if he had some kind of inexplicable connection with the Girls' Bathroom.
Impossible! He's such a proper person!
Hearing the voice behind her, Ginny Weasley slowly turned around and looked at Bell with her lifeless eyes.
Looking at Ginny's completely black eyes, without a single white showing, Bell's guess was further confirmed.
"So she really was manipulated? I knew the Weasley family girl wouldn't do something like this. The culprit must be that diary."
Bell turned his gaze to the diary in Ginny's hand.
"Who are you?"
A voice devoid of any emotion came from Ginny's mouth.
"Shouldn't I be the one asking this question?"
"Me? Haha, hahaha~!"
Looking at Ginny, who had inexplicably started getting excited, Bell gave her a look as if she were an idiot.
However, it's understandable. These magical items that can control their users are clearly Dark Magic Items. And most Dark Magic Items are made by Dark Wizard. And as for Dark Wizard, well, everyone knows they're rarely sane.
"Kid, I hate the way you look at me!"
"Ginny" said viciously.
Unfortunately, that cute little face has absolutely no intimidating power.
"Listen up, I am the great Dark Lord — Voldemort!"
"Hey kid, those House-elf who were spying on me, you were the one who arranged it, weren't you? I came out tonight to lure you out."
A wisp of Black Mist drifted out from above Ginny's head, forming the upper body of a young man above her.
"I have been watching you for a long time, and you are qualified to join my ranks. So, being merciful, I have decided to give you a chance. Now, swear allegiance to me, and I can forgive your previous rudeness."
As soon as he appeared, the young man acted all arrogant and cocky, saying...
Bell breathed a sigh of relief. To be honest, Ginny's emotionless voice had been quite unsettling. Now that this young version of Voldemort was speaking on his own, Bell felt much better.
"Come to think of it, I think I heard something similar last year?"
Looking at the familiar Black Mist surrounding Ginny, Bell recalled what had happened that night last year in the underground room. Voldemort seemed to have said something to him then? It had been too long; he couldn't remember clearly.
"But honestly, you look so much better now than you will in the future. So what were you thinking, making yourself look so stupid?"
"You've seen me before!? Where did you see me?"
"Young Voldemort asked in surprise."
"Last year, at Hogwarts."
Bell answered Voldemort's questions earnestly. He showed no sign of nervousness.
Unlike last year. On one hand, the current Bell is far stronger than he was last year; it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say there's a world of difference. On the other hand, the fragment of Voldemort's soul in front of him is much, much weaker than the one that possessed Quirrell before.
Actually, it makes sense when you think about it. A Mosquito Essence that spends all day clinging to an adult wizard and taking a few Mosquito Essence that's clinging to an 11-year-old Little Witch, obviously the latter can't absorb much magic.
Although Bell hasn't yet begun to delve into matters of the soul, that doesn't stop him from being interested in them.
As the only known Horcrux maker, the opportunity to observe Voldemort's soul fragments up close like this is quite rare.
So now Bell isn't sleepy at all, and he could talk to Voldemort until dawn without any problem.
"Where is he now? What did he do back then? Did he succeed?"
The younger version of Voldemort anxiously pressed for an answer.
"Unfortunately, I don't know where he is now. He was in possession of a Hogwarts professor, just like you, and would occasionally cause trouble at night. He seemed to want to get his hands on the Philosopher's Stone kept at Hogwarts, but unfortunately, he failed in the end."
Bell shrugged and answered Voldemort's question very honestly.
After all, it's important to have questions and answers in order for a conversation to continue.
