Penelope Was Desperate
Snape's expression immediately lit up, and he gave Bell a knowing look.
"I want eyes and teeth!"
Snape made an outrageous demand.
Snape had long coveted the eyes and fangs of that Millennial Basilisk. Now that he had the chance to extort money from it, he wasn't going to hold back with Bell.
All the talk of friendship was fake; he was just an emotionless Snape.
"We really don't have that. Perhaps you could consider something else?"
If he could transfer to Slytherin House by giving up the Basilisk's eyes and fangs, then Bell would absolutely not hesitate.
What do a few magical materials matter as long as they make my little sister happy? No matter how precious the magical materials are, they can't compare to a smile from my little sister.
The problem, however, is that Bell has already used the Basilisk's eyes and fangs on the two Ten Thousand Snakes.
As the saying goes, "a single hair can affect the whole body," and as the most advanced Magic Puppet Bell has ever created, Ten Thousand Snakes's structure is extremely intricate. Removing its eyes and fangs would cause Ten Thousand Snakes to lose its overall balance.
At that point, the question won't be whether the Magic Puppet's strength will decrease, but whether it will still be able to move at all.
Moreover, Bell was 100% certain that if he dared to remove his girlfriend's Red Scale, Hermione would never speak to him again.
"What's the use of anything else! And where did you put your eyes and fangs?"
As a top Potion Master, Snape said he had no respect for those "snake bastards".
"Perhaps you could soak some snake meat in alcohol to make a drink? My father said it works quite well. Also, I've already used the eyes and fangs to make magical items."
Bell enthusiastically recommended it. Although he didn't think that a Potion Master like Snape would need to drink snake wine.
"How could you use such precious magical materials to make magical items?! Such valuable materials should be used to make Potions! You spendthrift! Without eyes and fangs, nothing is possible!"
Snape felt like his heart was about to burst. He simply couldn't believe that anyone in this world could be so wasteful!
Even if Bell gave him the Basilisk's eyes and fangs, Snape couldn't guarantee that Bell would successfully transfer to Slytherin House...
There's nothing he can do; he's just a dean of a college. Above him is a principal and a vice-principal.
Not to mention, the two principals are practically inseparable.
What? You're asking him why he dared to so brazenly ask for a bribe if he wasn't confident?
Ha! How naive! Get the stuff first, who cares about the rest!
Besides, he's already agreed to Bell's request to transfer to another house, and he's done everything he could. If Dumbledore and McGonagall disagree, they can't blame him, can they?
Once the "duck" is in his mouth, there's absolutely no way he'll spit it out!
"Well..."
Bell was somewhat speechless. However, he had no interest in engaging Snape in a debate about the merits of Potions versus Alchemy.
I doubt he'll ever have that kind of interest in his life.
After thinking for a moment, Bell gritted his teeth and decided to unleash his trump card.
"Professor Snape, actually, I discovered by chance that the spider silk of the Acromantula..."
"Mr. Menethil!!!"
Professor McGonagall let out a roar that was barely contained, interrupting Bell and Snape's Shady Deal.
The old professor had been putting up with Bell for a long time! From the moment she entered the Great Hall, she noticed that Bell had somehow gone to the Slytherin table.
Now, Bell even dares to openly disrupt the order of the Great Hall, discussing topics as greasy as hair with Snape, who never washes his hair.
Adding to the pent-up frustrations she had accumulated in the office, Professor McGonagall, having reached her limit, finally snapped.
"Hogwarts does not allow transfers! Now, return to Ravenclaw's dining table immediately!"
At this moment, Professor McGonagall fully demonstrated her demeanor as Head of the Gryffindor, letting out Hedor Lion's Roar sent shivers down the spines of all the Little Wizard.
Besides Bell and Shanna...
Little Shanna was very dissatisfied with the professor she was meeting for the first time!
It was one thing for that person to call her Gege away before, but now that her Gege is about to successfully transfer to another academy (Shanna's perspective), that person suddenly shows up and tries to sabotage things? How can anyone be so annoying!?
Compared to his younger sister, Bell, as the Gege, is naturally much more mature.
He calmly rubbed his ears, which were a little uncomfortable from the vibration, before looking at Professor McGonagall and speaking slowly and deliberately:
"The terms are negotiable."
"No discussion!!!"
Fortunately, Professor McGonagall still remembers that she is a professor at Hogwarts. In addition, she is now older and her temper has become much milder.
If this were her younger self, with her fiery temper back then, she would have already pulled out her Wand and taught Bell a lesson!
"Miss Clearwater! Fulfill your duties as Student Council President and bring Mr. Menethil from your house back! Otherwise, I'll be deducting points from Ravenclaw's score!"
Unable to deal with Bell's stubbornness, Professor McGonagall reluctantly turned her attention to the new Student Council President of Ravenclaw — Penelope Clearwater.
Upon hearing Professor McGonagall's name called, Penelope rushed over. She had a bad feeling when she saw Bell go to Slytherin earlier, and now, that premonition had indeed come true.
"Bell, stop fooling around and go back to your Ravenclaw table for dinner."
Penelope tried to persuade her earnestly.
At that moment, Penelope was devastated.
The man in front of her is her boss, who controls her salary. The man behind her is her professor, who controls her grades.
She couldn't afford to offend either of them. So what could she do? She was practically on the verge of despair and crying!
"No! I want to transfer houses! I want to go to Slytherin! I want to be with Shanna!"
At that moment, Bell seemed to be possessed by his "brain drain" aura, and he almost threw a tantrum on the ground.
"Oh, right! Senior, congratulations on becoming the Student Council President. Although I don't really know what's so special about it."
Also, this is my younger sister, Shanna. Isn't she the cutest girl in the world?!
"Shanna, this is Penelope, my Gege's friend."
Bell introduced the two.
"Hello Penelope!"
Shanna greeted her politely while carefully observing Penelope.
The little girl was very curious.
First, she learned that her Gege actually had a friend at Hogwarts.
Secondly, no matter how you look at it, Shanna felt that Penelope surpassed Hermione in both figure and appearance.
Although they are all far inferior to her...
So why did the Gege choose Hermione instead of Penelope as his girlfriend?
"Hello Shanna, I've often heard Bell mention you. Today I finally meet you in person..."
"No! Now is not the time for pleasantries. Bell, come back with me quickly, or Professor McGonagall will be furious."
Penelope noticed that Bell's ability to veer off-topic was getting better and better; he could now do it anytime, anywhere, without any sense of incongruity.
