Malfoy, Always Causing Trouble
Under the watchful eyes of the onlookers, some worried and some excited, the Hippogriff suddenly knelt down.
"..." *N
"What the hell?!"
The Little Wizard were stunned. Could it be that these seemingly formidable creatures were actually all show and no substance?
Hagrid was far more shocked than the Little Wizard who knew little about Hippogriff.
"Bell, what have you done!?"
Hagrid stared incredulously at the unbelievable scene before him.
"It's nothing. Just like I said before, it's survival of the fittest."
Bell reached out and stroked the feathers on the Hippogriff; the silky texture felt very comfortable.
Although it's still a bit inferior to its own Fina.
"You did a good job, so I won't stew you tonight."
Bell patted Xiao Hei's head and praised him.
By the way, Xiao Hei is the name Bell just gave to this Hippogriff.
After receiving Bell's signal, Xiao Hei stood up and flew around in the sky with Bell.
Overall, it didn't feel very good.
It was too bumpy and the wind was too strong; it was nowhere near as comfortable as Flying Car.
Although Bell did not set a good example, he can at least be considered to have made a good start.
After seeing Bell fly back on the Hippogriff, the other Little Wizard also looked eager to try it out, wishing they could immediately experience what it felt like to be a 'knight'.
Hermione was no exception.
"Want to give it a try?"
Seeing the expectation brimming in his girlfriend's eyes, Bell asked with amusement.
"Uh-huh!"
Hermione nodded hastily.
For someone from Muggle family like her, flying was no ordinary thing.
So far, Hermione has only flown once, and the only other time she has flown was for a short while during Flying Class.
To be honest, those old brooms at Hogwarts, which should have been obsolete long ago, weren't a very good flying experience. But even so, they left a deep impression on Hermione.
Unfortunately, Flying Class are only available for first and second graders.
Hermione was quite sad when she first received her third-year timetable. But who would have thought she'd be experiencing the thrill of flight again so soon?
Ignoring Hagrid's busy work, Bell took Hermione's hand and led her to a reddish-brown Hippogriff.
Bell knew his girlfriend liked brownish-red.
Although Hermione usually seems to dislike her messy hair, she actually cherishes it terribly in private.
"What should I do?"
Hermione stared nervously at the Hippogriff was more than a head taller than her.
"Relax, I'm here with you, everything will be alright."
Bell comforted Hermione.
After Hermione took a few deep breaths and relaxed a bit, Bell continued:
"The method I used before is not suitable for you at the moment. You should follow the steps that Hagrid taught you."
Do you remember what Hagrid said before?
Bell confirmed.
Hermione nodded. Then, at Bell's prompting, she stepped forward, staring intently at the Hippogriff, and then slowly bowed.
The reddish-brown Hippogriff glanced discreetly at Bell standing to the side, then quickly curtsied to Hermione.
Seeing Hermione excitedly stroking the feathers of the Hippogriff, Bell smiled and suggested:
"Want to take a ride and fly around?"
"But is it really okay?"
When the moment came, Hermione hesitated again. She was afraid.
"Don't worry, everything will be fine. I'll be watching over you from down here and won't let anything happen to you."
Despite Bell's repeated assurances, Hermione ultimately couldn't resist the allure of flight and rode on the Hippogriff.
"Remember to hold its feathers firmly, but don't pull hard, or you'll hurt it."
After giving his final instructions, Bell stood still, intently watching Hermione fly into the air.
If Hermione were to fall by accident, Bell would catch her immediately.
Things didn't turn out badly; after flying a few circles, Hermione returned to the ground safely.
Although her legs were a little weak and she needed to lean on Bell to keep her balance, Hermione was still very excited. She hoped she would have this opportunity again next time.
Just as Bell was about to help Hermione sit down and rest for a while, another scream pierced the sky.
However, unlike the previous two times, this time the exclamation was accompanied by a heart-wrenching sense of desolation.
"Have there been a lot of exclamations lately? Are all Little Wizard these days so prone to making a fuss?"
With these questions in mind, Bell looked curiously toward the scene of the incident.
Malfoy was lying on the ground, rolling around in a sorry state, while the gray Hippogriff named Buckbeak was chasing after him, pecking and scratching Malfoy frantically.
A thin layer of Shield Charm shield enveloped Malfoy, blocking Buckbeak's attacks time and time again.
After the initial panic subsided, seeing the shield appear on his body, Malfoy finally remembered what his father had said when he gave him the gift.
Once he was sure he was safe, Malfoy's fear dissipated. It was replaced by boundless shame and anger.
He! Draco Malfoy! The heir to the prestigious Malfoy family! Was actually pinned to the ground and humiliated by a beast!?
Anger welled up in his heart, and Malfoy took out his Wand.
"Reduce to Dust!"
"No--!"
Hagrid, who was rushing toward the scene of the incident, let out a helpless wail after seeing Malfoy use the Breaking Curse on Buckbeak.
A flash of Curses light appeared, and then...
"Ah--!"
An even more heart-wrenching scream of pain erupted from Malfoy's mouth once more. It turned out that his Curses had been deflected by the Shield Charm on his body, striking his own shoulder.
Blood quickly soaked Malfoy's upper body, and tears and snot smeared his cheeks. Malfoy had no idea what was happening. He didn't have the energy to think about it now.
Hagrid finally arrived. He reached out and grabbed Buckbeak by the neck, dragging it away from Malfoy on the ground.
After securing Buckbeak to his chains, Hagrid looked helplessly at Malfoy lying in a pool of blood. He wanted to take Malfoy to the Hospital Wing, but the Shield Charm on Malfoy's body prevented him from getting close.
Bell walked through the terrified, screaming crowd and approached Hagrid.
He first observed Malfoy's condition.
Malfoy had already fainted from the pain. Combined with the bloodstains covering his body, he gave the illusion that he was dead.
But actually, Malfoy's injuries weren't serious. After all, Malfoy couldn't unleash any particularly powerful Curses.
However, if the bleeding drags on, excessive bleeding could threaten Malfoy's life.
