Everything Was for Teppanyaki Squid!
It was a dark and stormy night.
Most of Hogwarts Castle was shrouded in darkness. Only a few scattered windows offered glimpses of light.
Faint sounds of laughter drifted from afar. Without a doubt, anyone still having the energy to joke and play around with exams so close to the end is guaranteed to fail.
In this moment of utter silence, outside a dark window, several blades of grass suddenly bent over.
"Lena! Your foot has touched the ground!"
Shanna's suppressed voice suddenly rang out above the empty meadow.
"I'm so sorry!"
Lena apologized, her voice trembling with tears.
Although she tried the Flying Shoes a few times at Shanna's strong recommendation, she still couldn't control them well.
There was nothing she could do; she was afraid of heights.
"Honestly, I told you not to come along."
"No way! I don't want to miss out on something this fun!"
Phyllis's voice rang out as well.
Although she didn't know what Shanna was planning to do, she was sure it would be something really fun!
As for what I said last time, that I will never go on adventures with Shanna again?
Well... I just couldn't resist.
Needless to say, these are the three of them, including Shanna, who have been cast the Disillusionment Charm.
After a week of preparation, the time has come!
With the appointed time for meeting Fina fast approaching, Shanna secretly slipped out of the lounge and went to the grass outside the castle.
However, unlike the plan, she had two little tails following her.
Actually, Shanna really didn't want to bring Phyllis and Lena along.
I don't know when it started, but the little girl has become increasingly picky about the plans she makes and wants to pursue perfection.
However, Phyllis had already dragged Lena along, so she couldn't very well send them both back.
So, with no other choice, Shanna could only give the two of them some simple instructions before running off.
Shanna and Phyllis each held Lena's small hand on either side, and the three of them quickly flew to the Black Lake.
The moment the Disillusionment Charm was lifted from her body, a dark shadow darted out from the nearby bushes and shot towards Shanna like an arrow.
Shanna raised her little hand, palm facing forward.
"Stop!"
With a sudden stop, Fina came to a halt right in front of Shanna's palm, looking pitifully at Shanna she hadn't seen for a week.
"You haven't showered in a week, and you eat raw meat every day. You stink! Don't come any closer!"
As she spoke, Shanna pinched her nose and took two steps back in disgust.
"..."
If she weren't too scared, Fina would have loved to bite Shanna a couple of times.
It was clearly forced to live in the wilderness for a week. What's most infuriating is that they didn't even leave it food or let it use its magic.
And now, after enduring countless hardships to barely survive this week, it's being rejected by its owner?!
Why does it work so hard without complaint? Because of...
"Alright, stop pretending!"
Seeing her pet acting like a drama queen, Shanna, pressed for time, had no time to play with it.
Fina immediately dropped her pitiful expression.
To be honest, it took me a while to get used to it at first.
But after two days, it gradually began to enjoy that carefree life.
Moreover, raw meat isn't as unpalatable as you might imagine. In fact, tender raw meat paired with warm, sweet blood has a unique flavor.
"Wait here for me, I'll be up in a bit."
With that, Shanna cast Water Repelling Charm on herself and walked toward the Black Lake.
"Etc!"
Phyllis shouted, stopping Shanna.
She forcefully pulled Lena's hand away from her mouth and shouted:
"We want to go too!"
"I don't want to go!!!"
Lena wanted to cry but had no tears.
However, if both Shanna and Phyllis left, she wouldn't dare stay here alone, even with Fina by her side.
"Ouch!"
Shanna looked disgusted.
She was going to be in battle soon, and she didn't want to be dragging two burdens along with her while she was fighting.
"And Shanna, it's about time you told us what you're planning to do, isn't it?"
"... Okay, my real target is that Giant Squid."
After thinking it over, Shanna decided that telling the two of them now wouldn't affect her plans, so she stopped keeping it a secret.
"The Giant Squid? Is that the Giant Squid that often floats on the lake and plays with the students?"
Phyllis asked curiously.
After seeing Shanna nod, Phyllis continued to ask, still puzzled:
"Why are you looking for that Giant Squid? Did it do something to offend you?"
Logically speaking, Shanna usually goes out with them. So if Shanna was bullied by the Giant Squid, they should have known, right?
"No. I was looking for it to eat Teppanyaki Squid."
That's right! For the past two weeks, Shanna has been investigating the castle's layout and making various preparations, all in order to obtain a few Giant Squid tentacles to give to Lim to make Teppanyaki Squid!
As for her Gege forbidding Hermione from cutting off the Giant Squid's tentacles in front of her?
Naive! Absolutely naive!
Not to Shanna, but Hermione has only known her Gege for a few days! You have to understand, she's been with her Gege every day since she was little!
Shanna could confidently swear that no one in the world understood her Gege better than she did!
With just a glance, Shanna could tell what her Gege meant.
"Snort!"
o(^`)o
"..."
Although she didn't know what Teppanyaki Squid was, Phyllis understood the meaning of "eating".
This is really... so interesting!
"No, Shanna, you have to take me with you!"
Phyllis lunged forward and hugged Shanna tightly, displaying the air of someone clinging to a rich man's coattails.
Unable to persuade her otherwise, Shanna reluctantly led the excited Phyllis and the equally reluctant Lena into the Black Lake.
"Fireflies..."
"Stop!"
Shanna grabbed Phyllis's hand, interrupting her Lumos.
"Huh? Why? It's pitch black here. Without the Lumos, won't we be unable to see anything?"
Phyllis looked at Shanna with a puzzled expression.
She had previously thought that Shanna was trying to conserve her magic power by not casting the Lumos, which was why she wanted to cast it herself.
After all, it's an adventure for three people, so she has to play a role.
"Fish in shallow waters are very sensitive to light. The glow of the Lumos will attract a large number of fish, which may startle the Giant Squid."
Moreover, my Gege told me that there's a Merpeople Tribe in the Black Lake. If the more intelligent merfolk discover our whereabouts, tonight's plan will be ruined!
Shanna said seriously.
