Finals Begin
Soon, with the host's enthusiastic voice ringing out, the Quidditch World Cup final was about to begin.
Before the match began, the mascots of the Bulgaria Team and Ireland Team were the first to enter the field.
Compared to the alluring Veela of Bulgaria, the Irish Leprechauns were simply not up to par. The magical coins made by the Leprechauns could only fool foreign wizards who knew nothing about Leprechauns.
Before the match even officially started, Bell believed that Ireland Team had already lost half the battle.
After the mascots finished their performance, the players from both teams began to enter the field one after another.
The first team to take the field was once again the Bulgaria Team, playing away from home.
Every time the host announced a player's name, a deafening roar of cheers erupted from the stands.
Especially when the two teams' Seeker came out, the deafening cheers seemed to pierce the sky.
"Ah—! It's Troy! And Malette! Ah—! It's Lynch! Lynch!"
Rubbing his ears, Bell realized for the first time how penetrating Phyllis's voice was.
"Shanna? Why aren't you excited at all? That's Lynch!"
Phyllis glanced at Lena on her left, whose face was flushed with excitement, and then at Shanna on her right, who looked utterly bored. She couldn't understand Shanna's reaction at all.
"Huh? Gege, who is Lynch?"
Shanna looked at her Gege.
When the little girl encounters a problem she doesn't understand, she habitually asks her older Gege first.
Incidentally, she was busy eating and didn't look at the arena below.
It's already evening, time for dinner, and Shanna is feeling a little hungry.
"I don't know, I've never heard of it."
Bell was comfortably nestled in his girlfriend's arms, enjoying being fed by Hermione, and had no time to care about that Lynch Qimuqi.
"Oh."
Shanna didn't pay any attention.
Since even his own Gege doesn't know, it means that this Qi guy isn't an important figure.
Seeing Shanna nonchalantly lowering her head to eat again, and Bell looking lazy, Phyllis and Lena were speechless.
"So you guys really came to watch Quidditch Match?!"
Phyllis and Lena exchanged a glance, tidied their makeup, and fell silent.
There was no other way! There were only 6 people in the private room, and 4 of them were calm and composed. If the other two continued to shout and yell, wouldn't they seem very low-class?
Fortunately, after the players from both teams were introduced, the match officially began soon afterward. Bell and the others finally perked up a bit and started watching the game more attentively. This allowed Phyllis and Lena to secretly breathe a sigh of relief.
I wonder if they were envious or jealous of the fact that the Bulgaria Team had so many Veela?
In short, from the very beginning, the Ireland Team players were like they were on steroids, relentlessly dominating the Bulgaria Team. They turned what should have been a thrilling Quidditch World Cup final into something resembling the Hogwarts House Cup final.
Less than an hour into the game, Ireland Team had already scored more than 10 goals. In contrast, Bulgaria Team had only managed a paltry single goal.
Although Ireland Team's Seeker, Lynch, was unfortunately injured by a feint from Bulgaria Team's Seeker, Krum, it was still not enough to reverse Bulgaria Team's overwhelming disadvantage.
With the score already at 130-10, this overwhelming gap made the Bulgaria Team restless.
The first to take action was the Bulgaria Team's mascot, Veela.
The Veela stood up and, at the edge of the arena, began to dance gracefully once more.
Unfortunately, perhaps the Quidditch players have all undergone rigorous training, or perhaps they are all a bunch of silly fools with the lofty idea that "women are not as fun as Quidditch?"
In short, the Veela ' actions had little effect.
Instead, the referee of the match, Hassan Mustafa, the president of the International Quidditch Federation from Egypt, was drawn to the Veela and began to show off his thin physique with exaggerated gestures.
When Bell first heard the name "Hassan," Bell was quite nervous. He was afraid that the other party would pull out a two-handed greatsword from who-knows-where and perform a textbook example of "unparalleled stealth" for the many wizards present.
Fortunately, judging from the other party's current behavior, this one must be some unknown generation.
Seeing that their own mascot was helpless, the Bulgaria Team players, realizing once again that it's better to rely on themselves than on others, decided to roll up their sleeves and take matters into their own hands.
The two Bulgaria Team Beater seemed to be possessed by berserkers, their eyes bloodshot as they swung their bats, not caring whether it was a person or a ball in front of them. As long as it wasn't their teammate, they would smash it with their bats without hesitation.
Under this "Slytherin- esque" style of play, the Bulgaria Team conceded several penalties in succession.
As a result, the score not only failed to narrow, but actually widened further.
The belatedly aware Leprechaun, fearing their bosses would dock their wages upon their return, flew into the air after the Bulgaria Team committed another foul, forming a giant hand that made a very rude gesture towards the Veela.
This action thoroughly enraged the Veela.
Just kidding. With their innate abilities, Veela are treated like royalty by wizards wherever they go.
But now, a group of lowly, ugly dwarfs dare to provoke them?
This is suicide!
The Veela Transfiguration bird forms, flew into the air, and hurled balls of fire-like magic at the wretched little dwarves.
Faced with the Veela's attack, the Leprechauns certainly wouldn't stand idly by. Although their individual combat strength was inferior to the Veela's, their numbers were overwhelming!
The Leprechauns, in groups of three or five, fought the Veela with perfect teamwork, going toe-to-toe and holding their own against each other.
The Ministry of Magic Staff responsible for maintaining order could not possibly turn a blind eye to the mascots' brawl.
They charged into the arena shouting and waving their Wand, trying to separate the Leprechauns and Veela that were entangled together.
If these mascots keep fighting, the matches might not attract any viewers!
This kind of behavior that steals the show... is actually quite interesting...
At least in the eyes of a certain pair of unscrupulous siblings who thrive on chaos, this is absolutely hilarious!
"Gege! Gege! Can I go downstairs to play?"
Shanna watched with excitement as the Veela, Leprechauns, and wizards clashed in the arena. It was the first time the little girl had ever seen such a massive battle.
She's now itching to do more things, and even more so to do them!
