Reveries and Wild Fantasies
"Huh? Bell, this contains alcohol."
Seeing Bell gulp down his fruit drink, Hermione hurriedly reminded him.
She knew her boyfriend hated drinking, and thought Bell had accidentally taken the wrong thing.
"I know, I was just worried you'd be nervous."
Grinning, Bell really couldn't understand why anyone would like to drink, or even be addicted to alcohol.
It tastes terrible.
"So you're worried I'll be nervous? Why are you drinking so much?"
Hermione looked at her adorable boyfriend, who was saying one thing but meaning another, with amusement. Her nervousness about what was about to happen lessened considerably.
Taking small sips of her fruit drink, Hermione felt a sweet warmth in her heart.
However, there will always be some people in this world who don't understand the atmosphere.
Just as the atmosphere between Bell and Hermione was getting better and better, and the time was getting more and more ripe, an uninvited guest suddenly appeared in front of them.
"Hello, beautiful Miss Hermione, may I have the honor of dancing with you?"
Krum, speaking in broken English, stared intently at Hermione.
He had never seen a girl as alluring and captivating as Hermione. So, from the moment he saw Hermione, he made his decision.
You absolutely must win her over!
As for the information he gathered that the other party had a boyfriend, Krum didn't take it to heart.
Just kidding, who is he? He's the Seeker for the Bulgaria Team, an internationally renowned Quidditch star!
Krum has never doubted his fame and charisma.
Not to mention, according to the intelligence he investigated, Hermione's boyfriend, that brat named Bell, was no good, and could even be described as notorious.
The beautiful Miss Hermione must have been coerced by that Bell to be in a relationship with him!
The thought of Miss Hermione living under Bell's daily threat, hoping that one day a Champion would come to her rescue, broke Krum's heart.
Unlike the "cowards" in Hogwarts, he, Krum, as a Champion of Durmstrang, as a hero who soars through the skies and across the Quidditch pitch, fears no evil!
Not to mention, the other guy is only a fourth-grader, and supposedly he hasn't even made it onto the Quidditch team. He could take on ten of those weaklings with one hand!
The hand holding the Wand.
Therefore, after inviting Miss Hermione to be his dance partner, but Miss Hermione refused him in fear of Bell's tyranny ( from Krum's perspective), Krum thought it over carefully and finally decided to hold the "final battle" today.
Tonight, at this grand ball, in full view of everyone, he will defeat Bell and save the beautiful Miss Hermione!
After that, Miss Hermione, admiring his courage and strength, will surely throw herself into his arms without hesitation.
With that thought in mind, Krum stared intently at Bell. If Bell made any move to coerce Miss Hermione, he would immediately strike and teach him a lesson!
However, Hermione did not immediately refuse Krum's invitation.
She used the fastest speed she had ever used in her life to forcefully press down on Bell's right hand.
There was no other way; Hermione was genuinely afraid that if she were even 0.001 seconds slower, the famous football star in front of her would never have the chance to ride Flying Broomstick again.
Hermione often heard Bell tell her stories about Shanna. What impressed her most was Shanna's habit of pulling out her wand at the drop of Wand.
As Bell's sister, do we really need to ask where the little girl learned those "good" habits?
It's all because the little girl has a 'good' Gege!
After making sure that Bell wouldn't blow Krum into a mosaic with a single Explosion Curse, Hermione finally breathed a sigh of relief and had time to respond to Krum's invitation.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Krum, I'm a little tired and don't want to dance anymore. Besides, I won't dance with any guys other than my boyfriend."
Hermione firmly rejected Krum's invitation, leaving him no room for speculation.
However, what Hermione didn't know was that "daydreaming" needs space, but "daydreaming" doesn't.
In Krum's view, Miss Hermione's failure to respond to his invitation immediately, and her instead looking at that brat Bell, was clearly out of fear of him, and she was confirming his intentions.
Therefore, Krum, who had already envisioned various scenarios in his mind, took out his Wand without saying a word and pointed it at Bell on the sofa.
"You'd better get away from Miss Hermione right now! I'm not one of those guys at Hogwarts; your rumors won't fool me!"
A white light flashed at the tip of Krum's staff. If Bell dared to utter a single "no," his Petrification Curse, ready to be unleashed, would immediately splatter onto the other's face.
"What you up to!?"
Before Bell could kill the idiot who dared to point his Wand at him, Hermione, fiercely protective of her own, screamed and stood up, shielding Bell.
If it weren't for the inconvenience of taking out her Wand while wearing her current evening gown, Hermione might have already used a Disarming Charm to remove Krum's Wand.
"Miss Hermione, don't be afraid. With me here, he will never be able to threaten you again."
Krum earnestly tried to persuade Miss Hermione, attempting to give her courage.
He hadn't expected that the psychological trauma Bell had inflicted on Miss Hermione would be so profound! So much so that when faced with an attack, Miss Hermione would instinctively stand in front of the attacker, acting as a human shield?
Sure enough, Bell is a complete scumbag!
Thinking this, Krum's gaze toward Bell became even more disgusted.
He now desperately wanted to kill the other person!
"What are you talking about? When did Bell ever threaten me? If you don't put your Wand away, I'm calling the professor!"
Hermione said she couldn't understand a word of what Krum was rambling on about.
Besides, she wasn't interested in figuring out what the other person was saying. All she wanted was to immediately eliminate the threat they posed to her boyfriend!
"Why are you calling him 'professor'? If I do, how am I supposed to discipline him?"
Before Krum could continue trying to persuade Hermione, Bell, who was sitting behind Hermione, suddenly spoke up.
Just kidding, no one really thinks that someone could secretly try to steal his girlfriend from him, fail, and then ridiculously try to steal her from him openly, even pointing Wand at him and threatening him, and still live peacefully?!
A fiery, burning magic emanated from Bell's body; his current level of rage was comparable to when the Dementor attacked Shanna.
