A Grand Finale
Enveloped in snow, Bell simply turned around, took two steps forward, and stepped out of the snow's embrace, as if the snow were merely an illusion, not real at all.
"What's going on?"
"That was so much fun, Gege!" Shanna asked excitedly.
"Water Escape Technique. I should have told you that if you can master all Five Elements Escape Technique, you can ignore most attacks."
"Gege, have you finished cultivating?"
As expected of my own Gege, he mastered such a difficult Five Elements Escape Technique so quickly.
Under her older Gege's tutelage, Shanna has also tried to practice the Five Elements Escape Technique. But she has only just reached the beginner level, the kind where she can't even pass through a wall.
Of course, if it's an "Invincible Wall Passing Technique," that's a different story.
There's no way around it. It's like what's written in books, "Earth is Kun, Kun is the mother, and it is also Yin," and "Water is not constant, therefore it is always present; it is easy to follow, and easy to reverse," and so on.
Shanna was completely baffled and still couldn't understand what it meant.
"No, I've only barely mastered Earth Release, Water Release, and Wood Release. I'm still a long way from truly achieving the unity of the five elements."
Because Shanna's initial plan was to trap him first and then find a way to break through his defenses, she gave him time to use his Water Escape Technique.
If Shanna attacks directly, he won't have time to use Water Escape Technique to neutralize it.
"Alright, enough chit-chat, let's continue the game."
While Bell was speaking, all the Ice Bird that had previously attacked Shanna flew behind him and gathered together to form a Frost Giant Dragon.
The 10-meter-tall Frost Giant Dragon opened its massive jaws and let out a deafening roar at Shanna. Along with the roar, a large amount of snowflakes mixed with magic were spewed towards Shanna.
An Ice Wall rose up, blocking the Frost Giant Dragon's breath.
Unlike when blocking the Ice Spear before, this Ice Wall was something Shanna had prepared for a long time, and its strength was completely incomparable to those hastily made ones before.
Even though the Ice Dragon's breath was incredibly powerful, it was still barely blocked by the Ice Wall.
However, the breath attack was only the first step in the attack. After the breath attack ended, the Ice Dragon raised its giant claw and smashed the already broken Ice Wall to pieces with a single swipe.
However, Shanna, who should have been behind the Ice Wall, had disappeared without a trace.
With a furrowed brow, Bell was surprised to find that he had lost track of Shanna.
He knew that Shanna had Side-Along Apparition away from behind the Ice Wall, but the problem was that he hadn't sensed Shanna appear in her Apparition.
Bell had great faith in his younger sister's abilities. He wasn't naive enough to believe that Shanna was trapped in a dimensional space and couldn't return.
So, where did the little girl go?
With his eyes closed, Bell heightened his senses to the maximum. Suddenly, he leaped to the left.
Boom!
The Ice Dragon's giant claw slammed directly into the spot where Bell had just been standing. Had he not dodged in time, he would have been smashed into the ground, even if he hadn't been injured, leaving him in a sorry state.
"This is truly unexpected!"
As Shanna slowly rose from the back of the Ice Dragon, Bell couldn't help but sigh.
It turns out that Shanna had previously used her magical energy fluctuations, which were Gundam % similar to her Gege's, to directly Apparition inside the Ice Dragon's body and hide herself.
Using the same characteristic of extremely similar magical fluctuations, Shanna seized the opportunity while her Gege was focused on searching for her location, and with lightning speed, took control of the Ice Dragon, thus launching the surprise attack she had just delivered.
"But in the end, my Gege still managed to dodge it."
Shanna pouted, looking a little unhappy.
She originally intended to give her Gege a big scare, but in the end, she only managed to scare Gege.
"That's because my perception has reached its highest level."
Although Bell was able to lose control of the Ice Dragon unexpectedly because he was focused on his senses, this also made him virtually impossible to ambush in that state.
After a brief exchange, the siblings resumed their fight.
However, unlike before, this time, the one taking the lead in the attack became Shanna.
The little girl happily controlled the Ice Dragon (which wasn't actually made for her by her Gege had made for her, chasing after Gege, tearing and biting with its claws and occasionally spitting out streams of frost breath.
After dodging for a few minutes, Bell finally sensed that the Ice Dragon's body strength was beginning to decrease.
With Shanna's current level of Transfiguration ability, she is unable to Transfiguration into an object of this strength. Therefore, after a period of rampage, the Ice Dragon's physical strength will begin to decrease, until it reaches the level that Shanna can Transfiguration into.
This is why Bell hadn't retaliated before.
Although he could break through his own Ice Dragon, the amount of magic power required would be too much, making it not worthwhile.
After a while, feeling that the time was right, Bell suddenly stopped dodging.
He stood still, watching the Ice Dragon's gaping maw as it lunged at him.
Click!
A semi-transparent shield appeared on Bell's body, blocking the Ice Dragon's bite. But at the same time, cracks appeared on the surface of the shield, as if it would shatter at any moment.
Seeing this, Shanna became even more excited. She immediately controlled the Ice Dragon and increased the intensity of its bite.
Cracks quickly covered the surface of the shield, but in this crisis, Bell not only did not show any tension, but even slightly curled the corners of his mouth.
"Burst!"
A violent explosion rang out, and the shield on Bell's body did not shatter and dissipate like a normal Shield Charm that had reached its limit, but instead exploded outwards.
In fact, after the Ice Dragon's strength was reduced, its attacks were no longer enough to easily break through Bell's defenses. Therefore, the cracks on the shield were actually intentional.
He poured a large amount of magic into the shield and deliberately damaged its structure, causing the magic to explode outwards, thus generating tremendous destructive power.
Along with Bell's shield, the Ice Dragon's huge, ferocious head also shattered.
Then, before Shanna could repair the Ice Dragon, Bell flashed and appeared on the Ice Dragon's back as well.
"Icy Wind Impact!"
Shanna was once again knocked away by her own Gege.
Bell pointed his Wand at his feet, and the Ice Dragon's remains broke into ice blocks, catching up with Shanna in mid-air.
The ice block enveloped Shanna, forming a large ice sphere several meters in diameter. Mysterious runes appeared on the surface of the ice sphere, Bell added Anti-Apparition Jinx to it.
As the saying goes, everything in excess is as bad as deficiency, and Bell felt that it was about time to stop for today. However, in the end, he needed a little time to prepare a magnificent finale for his sister.
