The House Cup's Fate
"Of course! Don't worry, brother-in-law... no, it's me. I'm not an adult, so you can trust what I say."
He's been constantly being called "Brother-in-law~ Brother-in-law~" by Little Gabrielle, and he almost blurted it out just now. What a close call!
"Let's pinky swear, pinky promise, for a hundred years, never to be broken!"
Little Gabrielle cutely stretched out her little finger, looking at Bell with anticipation.
"Okay, pinky promise."
Bell smiled and beckoned to Little Gabrielle.
And so, after much persuasion, finally, amidst the little ones' reluctant cries, Bell and the others said goodbye to the Little Gabrielle sisters.
Then, Bell was annoyed...
Walking alone in the dark castle, Bell was full of questions, but received no answers.
So even though he perfectly persuaded Little Gabrielle to go back as Hermione had asked, why was he still kicked off the bed?
Being kicked off was bad enough, but after he asked Hermione why she was angry, in keeping with his good habit of asking questions when he didn't understand, things turned out like this.
Forget about the bed, he can't even get into the room now.
So, why did Hermione kick Bell off the bed?
Hermione gets furious just thinking about it!
She never expected that Bell would promise to take Little Gabrielle to the Ecosystem Park during the summer vacation in order to persuade the girl to go back.
Doesn't that mean they'll be spending many days with Little Gabrielle during the summer vacation?
You see, according to the original plan, after returning from the Ecosystem Park, the Bell family was going to the United States, and she wouldn't be able to see Bell for most of the rest of the summer!
Therefore, she was really looking forward to visiting the Ecosystem Park with Bell!
(Shanna has been automatically ignored by Hermione.)
Now, she finally understood. All along, she had considered Phoebe her number one enemy. But it turned out that Little Gabrielle, hiding in Phoebe's shadow, was the real wolf!
I should have let Little Gabrielle stay!
Hermione, having made a poor decision, could only vent her anger on Bell.
"To make you a magnet for attention!"
Of course, since they couldn't spend the summer together again this year, Hermione had no choice but to decide to slightly reduce Bell's punishment.
If they don't stick together like glue now, how will she get through the rest of her life?
Due to the Triwizard Tournament and various other events, Hogwarts postponed its summer vacation this year.
Unfortunately, the third match of the Triwizard Tournament is scheduled for June 24th. If there's a holiday on July 1st, there won't even be a week left, not even enough time to finish the final exams.
Not to mention, the OWLs Exams in Grade 5 and the NEWTs Exams in Grade 7 take even longer.
Therefore, even with the best efforts, this year's summer vacation started a week later than in previous years.
The Little Wizard were full of complaints about this, and they blamed Snape, the new headmaster, completely ignoring how excited they were while watching the Triwizard Tournament.
In the evening, in the Great Hall.
Today is the Year-End Banquet, and everyone is excitedly gathered in the Great Hall, ready to welcome the summer vacation that is a week late.
Unlike previous years, this year, a somber atmosphere permeated the Gryffindor dining table.
Even if they suddenly rushed at Snape and self-destructed, no one else would be surprised.
I must say, Snape was truly a genius!
In just under two weeks, Snape managed to cause Gryffindor's House Points to plummet from three digits to one digit.
If it weren't for the fact that the Four Houses are a tradition that has continued for over a thousand years since the founding of Hogwarts, Snape probably would have disbanded Gryffindor House.
Professor McGonagall, the head of Gryffindor House, could not possibly turn a blind eye to Snape's shameless behavior.
But as a professor with morality and principles, she simply couldn't bring herself to ask the old professor to add points to Gryffindor House for no reason, or to drag the other three houses down with her.
Therefore, Professor McGonagall had no choice but to protest to Snape time and time again.
It is said that the old professor makes several trips to the Headmaster's Office every day for the sake of the students in his college.
Even when Dumbledore was the headmaster, the old professor never went to the Headmaster's Office this often.
However, a tree without bark will surely die, and a person without shame will be invincible.
Professor McGonagall was seething with hatred at Snape's roguish attitude of "I'm shameless, what can you do about it?"
This caused Snape to be on edge every time he encountered Professor McGonagall, always mentally prepared to face an attack.
Under Professor McGonagall's gaze, which seemed to want to devour him, Snape felt guilty!
Although he wasn't afraid of McGonagall in a head-on confrontation, if McGonagall attacked him from behind and he lost the initiative, the outcome would be unpredictable.
Fortunately, Snape's years as Death Eater had paid off, and under his vigilance, Professor McGonagall was never able to find an opportunity to launch a sneak attack.
Left with no other option, an enraged Professor McGonagall turned her gun on Bell.
Of all the students currently enrolled at Hogwarts, only Bell is someone the old professor can find fault with without any qualms.
"That damn brat needs more practice!"
Therefore, Bell, once again caught in the crossfire, could only helplessly deal with the various difficulties posed by Professor McGonagall.
Cleaning toilets, wiping armor, processing magical materials— Professor McGonagall assigned Bell to everything she could think of. This left Filch, the official administrator, with nothing to do.
Filch was terrified for a long time because of this, thinking that Hogwarts didn't want him anymore.
"Quiet down! Everyone, please be quiet!"
Finally, Snape appeared in the Great Hall.
He stood confidently in front of the principal's seat, surveying the entire Great Hall with a smug look on his face.
"Today is the last day of the school year. Tomorrow, everyone will return home to begin their summer vacation."
Therefore, I would like to make a few simple announcements here.
First, there's this year's House Cup. Slytherin House, with a score of 600, unsurprisingly took first place.
As for the other three colleges, I won't go into details, as I believe you all know the specific score requirements for your respective colleges.
I hope that next school year you can learn more from the Slytherin students and at least put some pressure on them.
Otherwise, if they always win the House Cup by a large margin, they will easily become arrogant over time, which is not good.
"Whoa—!"
Before Snape could finish speaking, a chorus of boos erupted in the Great Hall.
I've seen shameless people, but I've never seen anyone this shameless.
Not only the Gryffindor Little Lions, but even the Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff couldn't stand it anymore.
"Don't you even have a clue how Slytherin got such high House Points?!"
