The Troll had caved. It vividly remembered the terror it had felt just moments ago, as though it were facing a Fire Dragon. It had felt as if it would be swallowed whole the very next second if it disobeyed. So now, it did not dare move at all, hoping these two little creatures would show mercy and spare it once more.

The Troll was scared, but Harry and Ron were even more scared! The two of them struggled to look up at the Troll that had suddenly appeared before them, sucking in a sharp breath... only to nearly pass out from the stench...
