A Quiet Night
Normally, when playing games on Personal Terminal, if a communication call comes in, the game interface will not be ejected; instead, a notification box will pop up at the top of the screen.
But Bell knew all too well what her pet was like.
He was certain that Little Fina, who was always completely absorbed in her games, would absolutely ignore the notification box at the top of the screen. He could call Fina all day and she might not even answer.
So, without Fina's knowledge, he changed the settings on Fina's Personal Terminal without her consent.
And that's how it turned out.
At this moment, Little Fina was like a 200-pound child who had suddenly been told that there was no midnight snack. She cried loudly and rolled around on the sofa.
Thankfully, Bell didn't see his adorable pet in this state, otherwise he might have had to be ruthless and send Little Fina to Shanna's place for a while to undergo electroconvulsive therapy for internet addiction.
After rolling around on the sofa for almost a minute, Little Fina finally managed to calm down.
Of course, this is also related to the fact that it had previously seen its own owner's image displayed on the screen of Personal Terminal.
If it were Shanna's master's communication, what would she care about being a king or not? Fina was not the kind of beast who cared about empty titles.
Smack!
After wiping away the tears from the corners of her eyes, Fina pressed her little paw on the answer button, then stared at the screen with a pitiful look, hoping that her reproachful gaze would make the owner who had secretly changed her Personal Terminal settings feel guilty.
And then I helped it revert the settings back.
"Fina, why are you so slow?"
Bell looked at her adorable pet on the screen with a puzzled expression.
It's worth noting that ever since Little Fina became obsessed with games, she has never let her Personal Terminal stray more than a meter away from her.
Even when going to the toilet, I have to carry him.
"Awooo~!"
"Alright, stop acting innocent after getting the benefit. It's good enough that we didn't punish you."
Go find Ke Ersha and the others right now and have them prepare some desserts. You need to bring them to the Dining Hall quickly.
Oh, and remember to get pudding, Cream Cherry flavored.
Ignoring Little Fina's complaints, Bell gave the order.
Although Lim didn't come along, Ke Ersha and the other two, who were responsible for maintaining and managing the various items in the suitcase space, couldn't be left out.
While Ke Ersha and his two companions' culinary skills may not match Lim's, they are definitely at a chef level. At least, they are many times better than Bell himself.
Not to mention, before they came, the three of them underwent Lim's hellish training.
Therefore, Bell's slogan of "breaking free from dependence on Lim and achieving independence and self-reliance" was just empty talk from the very beginning.
While waiting for the dessert to arrive, Bell didn't sit idle either.
He went to the food station again and picked out a few dishes that tasted good from the remaining food. Under the stares of the other people who were looking at him like he was a monster, he filled a few plates and came back.
There was no way around it; just thinking about those delicious desserts made his mouth water, and then he felt a little hungry again.
Whoosh!
In the dim light of dusk, a dark shadow flashed across the ground.
Its owner had previously instructed it that this was not its own territory, so it should keep a low profile and avoid using its innate abilities outside if possible.
So, although it was a bit troublesome, Fina still didn't choose to fly, but instead ran quickly on the ground.
Perhaps it's been playing too many games lately? This feeling of running at full speed is making it very uncomfortable.
Even so, it dared not slow down even by the slightest bit.
There was no other way; it knew perfectly well that Cream Cherry pudding was Shanna's favorite, and it dared not neglect it!
Crossing the hills and traversing the forest, Fina dashed left and right, and to the astonishment of the others, she gracefully rushed into the Dining Hall.
Without any hesitation, it followed the scent it sensed and found its owner.
Jumping onto the table, Little Fina, panting heavily, stretched her little head in front of her owner.
After gently rubbing his adorable pet's head, Bell took a small cloth bag off Fina's neck.
Seeing Little Fina panting, Bell took out desserts from the bag, thinking to himself:
"Perhaps we could have Fina deliver like this once a day, just as a form of exercise."
Little Fina, completely unaware that she would soon be working part-time as a food delivery driver, was staring intently at her owner's hands.
It ran so far just now, it must want some dessert now.
"Hey! You're living a pretty good life!"
What's this delicious food? It smells so sweet.
Looking at the beautifully presented dishes on the table, Ma Jingjing couldn't help but swallow hard.
She was initially worried about whether Bell and the others could adapt to life at the Academy, so she specifically came to find them.
It turns out that these guys seem to be living a more comfortable life than she is.
"Senior, would you like to sit down and have something to eat with us?"
Bell invited him with a smile.
"Then I won't stand on ceremony."
As she spoke, Ma Jingjing sat down next to Hermione.
She couldn't resist the temptation of the snacks on the table that she had never seen before but looked delicious.
"Is all this Britain food?"
Carefully picking up the small plate in front of her, Ma Jingjing observed it with curiosity.
The cake on the plate emitted an enticingly sweet aroma, making her want to devour it in one bite.
"Not entirely, some are specialty desserts from other Europe countries."
Bell said.
Due to time constraints, the three House-elf of Ke Ersha made food that was quick to prepare.
Even so, these desserts were all very delicious.
It has to be said that after serving wizards for thousands of years, household skills have almost been ingrained in the bones of House-elf.
It is no exaggeration to say that every House-elf is a perfect, all-around housekeeper.
After a pleasant dessert time, Bell, feeling both satisfied and content, said goodbye to Ma Jingjing and then returned to her little courtyard with her younger sister and girlfriend.
In the evening, the three of them sat in the courtyard, enjoying the cool night breeze while doing their own things.
Shanna leaned back in her recliner, her eyes slightly closed, meticulously working on her Occlumency.
She was almost there, and she was now fully motivated to master the Undying Flame Curses that her Gege had taught her.
Bell held a piece of Arcanite in his hand, analyzing its internal structure with magic while also contemplating how to forge and refine it.
Every now and then, he would answer some questions for Hermione.
Hermione, on the other hand, buried herself in the array book that Bell had just given her, trying to catch up with the Arrays Class in the shortest amount of time.
A gentle breeze rustled the leaves.
Bathed in the glow of the Curses light, the scene was incredibly warm and harmonious.
