No Escape

An invisible blade swept through the air. Amid the sound of shattering glass, a head flew high into the air under the force of spurting blood.

Nelson's furious expression remained frozen on his face, but his consciousness had already sunk into darkness.

"Damn it! How could he be this strong?!"

In the blink of an eye, they had lost two members. Maurice felt a chill run down his spine.

By now, he had recognized Bell. This man was the target they had come to capture. Yet that only made Maurice even angrier.

With the strength Bell had displayed, even if Wallace and the other two were still here, all ten of them might not be able to defeat him head-on. And the family had actually ordered them to enter Hogwarts and kidnap him?

They might as well have sent themselves to their deaths!

Seeing Bell effortlessly dodge their attacks with a flicker, Maurice knew they could not keep this up.

"Run! Split up and escape!"

Fortunately, this place was not covered by an Anti-Apparition Jinx. If the five of them scattered, at most one of them would be caught.

An eighty percent chance of survival was not too bad.

After issuing the warning, Maurice stopped caring about the others. He had not been close to the other men to begin with. Giving them a warning was already more than enough. If someone could not see the situation clearly and insisted on staying to fight Bell head-on, then they had no one to blame but themselves.

Having found himself an excuse for fleeing, Maurice's figure twisted before vanishing from the grass.

Judging by the casting speed, Maurice was highly proficient with Side-Along Apparition. Unfortunately for him, he had run into Bell.
