Ning Feng and Orochimaru discussed researching the Box of Ultimate Bliss and whether Ryuzetsu’s clan technique could help revive Nagato, before Orochimaru privately warned that Kabuto might be plotting to become the Sage of Six Paths. The chapter left Ning Feng wondering whether Orochimaru was also scheming against him as Madara searched near the border of the Land of Earth and the Land of Lightning.
Ning Feng warned Orochimaru against betrayal before turning his attention toward Madara Uchiha. In Konoha, Shisui Uchiha proposed using Kotoamatsukami to end the conflict and prepared to seek permission to travel to Amegakure.
Uchiha Itachi and Shisui Uchiha sparred, and Shisui discovered that Itachi’s shuriken skills, Fire Release, and chakra capacity had improved. The match was left unresolved when Shisui attacked Itachi from behind with Uchiha Style: Gale Sword.
After seeing Shisui arrive in Amegakure, Ning Feng realized Kotoamatsukami could help him control Madara Uchiha and end the war. Meanwhile, Madara pressed Kabuto about his research, as Kabuto secretly investigated White Zetsu and the Uchiha and Senju bloodlines.
Kabuto Yakushi experimented on White Zetsu to strengthen Madara Uchiha, while Madara worried that their forces were weakening and their allies might surrender. When Ning Feng learned that a mysterious man resembling Orochimaru was leading White Zetsu at the border, he suspected Kabuto and went to investigate with Shisui Uchiha.
Kabuto Yakushi tried to use White Zetsu and reanimated Iwagakure ninja to stall Amegakure while Madara Uchiha integrated new cells. Ning Feng arrived before Kabuto could delay him, and Kabuto ordered a barrage of Earth Release defenses.
Ning Feng broke through Kabuto Yakushi’s massive earthen barrier and countered Kabuto’s Sage Art techniques with his Rinnegan ability, Void. He advanced on Kabuto unharmed, leaving the confrontation unresolved.
Madara Uchiha arrived after fusing with Ning Feng’s cells, which dramatically increased his strength and let him trade blows with Ning Feng. Madara then attacked with Great Fire Annihilation, and Ning Feng prepared to absorb the chakra with his Rinnegan.
Madara Uchiha fought Ning Feng after gaining a major boost from Ning Feng's transplanted cells, matching him in strength and recovering chakra at an astonishing rate. Their duel continued to escalate, while Kabuto Yakushi and Black Zetsu watched from the sidelines.
Ning Feng and Shisui Uchiha used Ning Feng’s battle with Madara Uchiha to create an opening for Kotoamatsukami. Shisui’s technique succeeded, and Ning Feng released the eight tailed beasts as Black Zetsu and Kabuto Yakushi tried to understand what had happened.
Ning Feng sealed all nine tailed beasts into the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, but Madara Uchiha revealed he had only pretended to be controlled and used the statue to become the Sage of Six Paths. Ning Feng and Shisui tried to escape, but Obito Uchiha arrived just as they were preparing to leave.
Ning Feng escaped Madara Uchiha and encountered Hagoromo Otsutsuki, who passed his complete power and legacy to him. As Ning Feng became the third true Sage of Six Paths, Madara prepared to unleash the God Tree and cast Infinite Tsukuyomi.
Ning Feng confronted Madara Uchiha after reaching Six Paths Level and gaining the Mind’s Eye skill, which let him dodge and counterattack automatically. Their battle left Madara increasingly overwhelmed, while Black Zetsu and Kabuto Yakushi watched in shock.
Ning Feng extracted the Ten-Tails from Madara Uchiha and sealed it inside himself, becoming its Jinchuriki. He defeated Madara and killed Black Zetsu, while Kabuto Yakushi remained nearby.
Ning Feng surpassed the Sage of Six Paths, connected the real world to the Hokage World, and united the Shinobi World under a new Ninja Country. Two years later, he reunited with Minato Namikaze and his family, resurrected the First and Second Hokage, and invited everyone to drink.
