The Forbidden Magic Book continued, "Master, since this is your first time using the Forbidden Magic Book, you may unseal your first JinJi Character within the book for free. Would you like to proceed?"
Ye Yang said without hesitation, "Unseal."
The first time was free. Only an idiot would turn that down!
As soon as Ye Yang finished speaking, he "saw" a black book open in his mind. Its pages flipped continuously before stopping on one particular page.
A figure was sketched on the page where it stopped.
Then the Forbidden Magic Book's voice rang out.
"Congratulations, Master, on unsealing the character: Madara Uchiha. Would you like to summon the character or merge with the character's power?"
Madara Uchiha? It was actually him!
Even with Ye Yang's mature mindset, he could not help feeling a surge of wild delight.
Madara Uchiha was a character from the anime Naruto. His strength needed no elaboration. The strongest ninja of the Uchiha Clan, he had joined forces with Senju Hashirama in his youth to establish Konohagakure. Only a handful of people in the entire Naruto World could rival him.
Moreover, before his death, Madara Uchiha had not only developed the Rinnegan but also become the vessel sealing the Ten-Tails as its Jinchūriki, truly gaining Six Paths level power!
With Madara Uchiha's strength, he would probably be an unrivaled force even in this pirate world!
After these thoughts passed through his mind, Ye Yang said without hesitation, "Merge with the character's power."
His current strength was inferior to even an ordinary person's in this world. Making himself stronger as soon as possible was the way to go!
Boom!
As soon as he spoke, a layer of black light appeared out of thin air and enveloped his entire body, pouring into him continuously.
There was no pain, nor anything unusual.
There was only the power within his body growing ever stronger, something he could feel with perfect clarity!
"Merging... merge complete!"
A few seconds later, as the Forbidden Magic Book's notification ended, all the black light flowed into Ye Yang's body.
Ye Yang slowly opened his eyes, and a cold, proud, powerful aura surged from within him.
He clenched his fists, feeling the boundless power within him, as vast as the sea, and could not help exclaiming in wonder.
"So this is Madara Uchiha's power? It really is formidable. No wonder he could sweep across the entire Naruto World and become someone whose very name struck terror into people's hearts!"
"Let's try the Rinnegan."
Murmuring softly, Ye Yang closed his eyes again. When he opened them once more, his eyes were no longer black but pale blue, with rings of blue radiance spreading outward from his pupils.
His test complete, he deactivated the Rinnegan, and a slight smile appeared at the corner of his mouth.
He had inherited everything Madara Uchiha possessed. Now he, too, had what it took to make his way freely through this world!
After familiarizing himself a little with the power inside him, he opened the door and headed outside.
Stepping through the doorway, he was greeted by the azure sea, with waves constantly slapping against the ship's planks.
He glanced around. This was a small ship with neither pirate nor navy insignia. It was probably a merchant vessel.
Ye Yang walked out onto the deck.
At that moment, a group of burly, heavily muscled men sat on the deck, laughing loudly as they drank and ate meat.
One sharp-eyed man noticed Ye Yang, grinned, and raised his hand. "Hey, lad, you're finally awake?"
"Yes." Wearing a faint smile, Ye Yang walked over and sat beside them, then asked, "Where are we? How did I end up on your ship?"
The man who had spoken laughed and said, "We're on the Grand Line. We're taking a shipment of goods to sell at the Sabaody Archipelago. When we passed by two days ago, we happened to see you floating unconscious in the sea, so we pulled you aboard... lad, were you shipwrecked?"
Ye Yang nodded. "Yes."
This Forbidden Magic Book really was irresponsible. It had brought him to this world only to dump him straight into the sea, and had even left him unconscious for two days.
Honestly... just his bad luck!
"The damn weather on the Grand Line is unpredictable. You were lucky you didn't run into any Sea Kings, lad."
The man smiled as he picked up a plate of cooked meat and handed it to Ye Yang. "You haven't eaten for two or three days, lad. You must be hungry. Help yourself to anything here. If there's not enough, I'll have the cook make more!"
Grrrrumble~
He had barely felt anything before he noticed it, but the moment he saw the plate of roast meat in the man's hand, Ye Yang's stomach growled.
After two or three days without food, he was already starving.
"Thank you."
After thanking him, Ye Yang took the plate of roast meat and wolfed it down.
By the time he finished the large plate of roast meat, he was seventy or eighty percent full.
Setting down the clean plate, Ye Yang looked up at the man and asked, "By the way, mister, how much longer will it take to reach the Sabaody Archipelago?"
The man rubbed his chin and thought for a moment before saying, "At our current sailing speed, I'd say we'll reach the Sabaody Archipelago in another two days... why, lad, are you headed there too?"
"Yes, the Sabaody Archipelago was my destination all along."
Ye Yang casually made up an excuse to fend off the man's question, but inwardly he thought.
Another two days of travel? This ship really is ridiculously slow... no, I need to find a way to get a Log Pose.
Spending two days sitting around on this ship would be a complete waste of time. He wasn't in the mood for that. He might as well get a Log Pose and head there himself!
