Area 13.

Ye Yang stood outside a bar, looked up at its name, and murmured.

"Shakky's Rip-off Bar. Looks like I've come to the right place."

With that, Ye Yang pushed the door open and walked in.

The bar was quiet, with only a shapely woman standing at the counter, wiping a glass.

Sensing someone enter, the woman glanced up at Ye Yang, then smiled. "Young man, would you like something to drink?"

Ye Yang picked a seat at random and sat down, then looked up at Shakky and shook his head. "No, I'm here to find someone."

At his words, Shakky's hands paused before she continued with a smile. "Oh? You're joking, aren't you? Who could you possibly be looking for in my little bar?"

Though she appeared unconcerned, a trace of wariness secretly rose within her.

After all, ever since Gol D. Roger had ushered in the Great Pirate Era, quite a few Marines and pirates had been seeking information about Rayleigh.

And they had all been after his life!

"If I've come here looking for someone, naturally, I have my reasons." Ye Yang guessed what Shakky was thinking and smiled unconcernedly, parting his lips to say slowly, "I'm looking for Dark King Rayleigh. Pirate Shakky, could you call him out for me?"

Bang!

Shakky crushed the glass she was wiping in her hand. A formidable aura rose from her as she stared at Ye Yang with cold eyes and said icily, "Boy, who are you?"

Ye Yang remained unconcerned, smiling as he said, "Ye Yang. For now, I suppose you could call me unemployed."

"Phew!" Shakky stared intently at Ye Yang for a while, then took a deep breath and dispersed her aura, returning to her ordinary appearance. "Boy, I don't care where you got that false information, but I'm just an ordinary bar owner. The Dark King Rayleigh you're looking for isn't here. Go back!"

"Really?" The corners of Ye Yang's mouth lifted. He had no intention of giving up. "Shakky, don't you want to know where the orphan Gol D. Roger left behind is?"

Shakky's eyes narrowed at his words, but before she could say anything, the bar's door was pushed open with a bang.

An old man wearing glasses, with white hair and a white beard and a vertical scar over his right eye, stood in the doorway, staring fixedly at Ye Yang.

"Brat, if that was a joke, I'll make you pay for it!"

"Heh." Propping his chin on one hand, Ye Yang looked at the solemn-faced Rayleigh and smiled faintly. "Naturally, I know where the Pirate King's orphan is, but if you want to know where he is, you'll have to do a few things for me first!"

Rayleigh frowned and asked in a low voice, "What things?"

With the perception he had honed through years of fighting, he could clearly sense that the man before him was extremely powerful and dangerous. That power might even rival the Four Emperors!

Yet he truly could not understand what someone so powerful could need him to do.

Ye Yang held up two fingers and wagged them. "First, teach me the Three Types of Haki. Second, tell me everything you know about the whereabouts of Devil Fruits."

Rayleigh looked at Ye Yang in bewilderment. "Haki? You don't know how to use it?"

"Obviously. If I knew how to use it, would I need you to teach me?" Ye Yang rolled his eyes helplessly.

"...Haha, fair point." Rayleigh scratched his head with a sheepish chuckle.

Inside, however, he was full of questions.

Logically, anyone powerful enough to make him sense danger should at least be at the level of a Marine Admiral. How could someone at that level never have learned Armament Haki?

After pondering for a moment, Rayleigh cast his doubts aside.

The other man's affairs were none of his business. He only needed to teach him the Three Types of Haki, then find out where the child Roger had left behind was.

Ye Yang smiled faintly. "And the whereabouts of Devil Fruits. Tell me everything you know about them."

"As for Devil Fruits... I do have one piece of information." Stroking the white beard on his chin, Rayleigh said slowly, "Five days from now, an underground auction house in Area 1 will hold an auction. Word has it that the final item will be a Devil Fruit, though I don't know exactly what type it is."

"Only one? Never mind. Better than nothing."

Ye Yang turned toward Shakky, who had yet to lower her guard, and smiled. "Aunt Shakky, do you really need to be so wary of me? I'm not a bad person."

Shakky shrugged and smiled. "Who knows? There's a saying among women: the more handsome a man is, the worse he is. And you're quite good-looking!"

Ye Yang could only smile helplessly at that.

There was no helping it. He really was a little too handsome.

He had sharply defined features, fair skin, casually loose, medium-length black hair, and bright black eyes, along with the domineering aura of one who ruled over everything that had appeared after he gained Madara Uchiha's power.

Taken together, if a man's looks could score a maximum of a hundred, he would already rate above ninety-five.

"Aunt Shakky, could you give me a set of the latest pirate bounty posters?"

"I can, but what do you want bounty posters for?"

As Shakky asked in puzzlement, she took a set of bounty posters from a cabinet and placed them on the counter.

"To make money, of course."

Smiling, Ye Yang picked up the bounty posters and carefully scanned them one by one.

He was penniless right now. If he wanted to attend the auction, he had to earn some Beli.

And what faster way was there to make money than collecting pirates' heads?

His brows furrowed as he looked at the bounties on the latest posters.

He had to admit that, since this was only the tenth year of the Great Pirate Era, the scale of piracy was still nowhere near what it would be when the original protagonist, Monkey D. Luffy, set sail.

There were five Supernovas among this year's pirates, with the lowest bounty at 110 million and the highest at only 180 million.

Blood Axe Kuangsi, whom he had killed earlier, actually ranked among the top three.

He had to say, they were ridiculously weak!

"Still, that's good. Four of the five Supernovas recently landed in the Sabaody Archipelago. They probably haven't left yet, right?"

Of those four Supernovas, he had killed Blood Axe Kuangsi, and the latest whereabouts listed on the other three's bounty posters only went as far as this place. That meant they probably had not left yet.

At least, there was a very good chance they had not left!
