The Pirate King who spoke was named Lamantis. On Dunn's list of people he could not afford to offend, he ranked second only to Lilith, even though his individual combat strength fell short of Bella's.
However, neither this Pirate King's mind nor the forces under his command could be underestimated. Apart from Lilith, Lamantis was the only Pirate King who had kept the navy on his route firmly on the defensive.
After all, with most of Lilith's admirers recalled, the navy had already begun showing signs of mounting a counterattack along the Talal Route.
It could be said that Lamantis was now the only Pirate King still keeping the navy pinned down. That alone showed how formidable he was. Once the Pirate King Alliance was established, he was extremely likely to become its strategist.
And with the largely hands-off Lilith all but certain to become the Pirate King Alliance's supreme commander, Lamantis, as its strategist, might well become the true commander of the alliance about to be formed.
Now that Lamantis had spoken, the other Pirate Kings caught on as well.
"Exactly, you son of a bitch! You swagger in here and challenge whoever you please. Where does that leave our dignity?"
Barbarossa sneered at Dunn.
"Heh, he clearly doesn't think anything of us."
"Stop wasting time. Just kill them. We have proper business to get back to."
At any other time, they would have been more than happy to watch Ronald put on a "monkey show" for them. But not now. The Legendaries were all watching from behind the scenes.
What Dunn was doing now was not just a slap in their faces, but in the Legendaries' faces as well.
For scum of the sea like them, losing a little face in exchange for watching someone of equal standing
