Harrison scratched his head in puzzlement as he looked at the dozen or so monsters radiating terrifying auras around the Broodmother.
"When we were surrounded earlier, the Broodmother must have sent out a large number of guards. Otherwise, it couldn't have gathered so many high-tier monsters so quickly."
Maddy voiced his guess.
"Never mind that. These dozen or so are all fourth tier. Your job is to hold them off and keep them from interfering with me."
Dunn spoke sternly.
"No problem, Lord Donald. That's what we came here to do."

Though they currently had the advantage in numbers, they clearly had fewer fourth-tier fighters than the monsters.
