As Yeenoghu spoke, he gently snapped the authority fragment in his hand, splitting it into two.
Then Yeenoghu flicked one of the authority fragments into Dunn's body.
As the authority fragment entered his body, the longing in Dunn's heart immediately diminished considerably. Aside from that, however, Dunn felt nothing else unusual.
"Your Eminence Yeenoghu, I don't seem to feel any different?"
If he had questions, he would ask. This opportunity might never come again, and Dunn understood that well. After all, who knew when he would next encounter such a friendly Legendary?
"Digesting an authority fragment takes time. The specifics depend on the individual."
Yeenoghu answered every question now. For one thing, he was in an excellent mood after eliminating the Broodmother, a grave threat. For another, he also wished to befriend Dunn, an exceptionally gifted young man from the same organization.
"I understand."
Dunn nodded, then looked at the other authority fragment in Yeenoghu's hand. In theory, the authority of [Life] should suit him quite well too.
Besides, Yeenoghu had already said that all these spoils belonged to them.
"Don't be too greedy. Even a Legendary needs time to digest a single authority, and cannot digest a second one in the meantime. If you forcibly take it in, these two authority fragments might even merge back into the authority of [Reproduction]!"
Seeing Dunn's gaze, Yeenoghu immediately understood what he was thinking and firmly spoke up to put the idea to rest.
Hearing that, Dunn chuckled. "Then, Your Eminence Yeenoghu, how should I take this authority fragment back?"
Yeenoghu said nothing in response. He grabbed Dunn and, in a flash, appeared beside Annie and the others.
"Your Eminence Yeenoghu!"
Seeing Yeenoghu arrive, they immediately rose and bowed.
