"Sharp-tongued little bastard."
Damon's expression darkened, and his chilling Blade Qi erupted.
Countless streaks of Blade Qi enveloped Dunn in an instant, carving countless fine cuts across his body.
But in just an instant, the cuts on Dunn's body rapidly healed.
Had Dunn's clothes not already been reduced to tatters, Damon would have thought his attack had failed to hurt him.
"Super-Speed Regeneration!"
Damon recoiled in alarm and immediately pulled back, staring at Dunn in shock and uncertainty.
Damon had certainly looked into the information on Dunn. As an accomplished senior, he had the confidence to look down on Dunn, and he indeed did.
Still, when dealing with a dragon slayer, Damon had to take him seriously in practice.
Thus, Damon had personally studied Dunn's information.
He knew Dunn was a Physical-Side Classholder.
He knew Dunn had the ability to manipulate blood and darkness.
And that he possessed considerable close-combat ability.
He also knew Dunn could use his blood manipulation to achieve an effect similar to Super-Speed Regeneration.
But at this moment, Damon could swear on his own head that this was absolutely Super-Speed Regeneration.
Having lived so many years, Damon still had that much discernment.
Using an ability to simulate something like Super-Speed Regeneration? Bullshit.
The transcendent feat Super-Speed Regeneration and a similar recovery effect achieved through an ability were two entirely different concepts.
The latter consumed energy to achieve a similar effect and was an active ability, meaning that once the energy ran out, that recovery ability would be lost.
The former, however, was different. It was akin to a passive ability and consumed virtually nothing, even if Dunn fell unconscious or was gravely wounded and dying.
Super-Speed Regeneration would continue working all the while.
Once Physical-Side Classholders reached this stage, they were essentially very difficult to kill.
