"Remember this, both of you."
Dunn looked at Annie and Gunara and said in a slightly stern tone, "Once we go inside, we won't be seated together. Remember, speak less and watch more. When a decision needs to be made, just follow my lead."
"We won't be together?"
Annie frowned as she asked, while Gunara also cast him a puzzled look.
"Seats in the Pantheon are ranked by strength. Once a deity sits down, their position immediately changes according to their strength. The stronger the deity, the closer to the front their seat will be."
Dunn explained.
"I see."
Then something occurred to Annie, and her eyes lit up. "Doesn't that mean there's basically no privacy between the gods?"
"Exactly. That's probably one of the Fate Overlord's aims, too: to use the Pantheon to directly expose certain deities in the Astral Plane who hope to hide their strength and develop quietly."
Dunn nodded. "Of course, saying there's no privacy would be going too far. It only clearly distinguishes the gods' relative strength. No one knows what specific abilities the others have.
"And if it really comes down to a fight to the death, being one or two seats higher in the Pantheon won't decide who wins."
"All right, someone's coming. Let's go in."
After the three entered the Pantheon, they sat down at random as Dunn instructed. The next moment, Dunn found himself at the end of the Pantheon's long table, in second place.
Directly opposite Dunn was the Fate Overlord.
"Your Eminence, Death Overlord!"
The Fate Overlord greeted him with a smile.
"Your Eminence, Fate Overlord!"
Dunn nodded in response.
More than ten deities had already arrived in the Pantheon.
Gunara and Annie were seated toward the back, next to each other.
After exchanging brief greetings, silence fell over
