After leaving Durutol Island, Lott and Nami chose to travel to Alabasta aboard the Skybreaker.
Supported by island cloud, the Skybreaker gradually descended and slowly landed on an open patch of ground at Alabasta's harbor.
Then Lott and Nami both appeared at the harbor.
"Wow! Is this really still Alabasta? It's so... so beautiful!"
Nami's beautiful eyes quivered slightly as she looked at the dramatically transformed Alabasta before her.
"It's completely turned into a spring island! It's gorgeous."
As far as the eye could see, what had once been endless desert had now been replaced by lush green grasslands, dotted with all kinds of little flowers.
Farther into the distance, some lush thickets had already sprouted.
A light rain was drizzling from the sky.
All of Alabasta was shrouded in mist.
In an environment like this, even with the blazing sun overhead, it probably would not be terribly hot.
Looking at this place that felt both unfamiliar and familiar, Lott felt a faint sense of accomplishment.
Although changing an island's magnetic field might change its climate, all of that had only been his speculation.
He had not expected that changing the magnetic field of the entire island of Alabasta would really make both its weather and environment so pleasant.
