On Amazon Lily in Peach Spring, Luffy was using his Devil Fruit ability to race forward.
"What is this place? Everywhere I go is a dead end! Where are my friends?" He looked at the boundless sea before him, growing a little anxious.
He took out his Vivre Card and checked the direction again.
He scratched his forehead in frustration. "Looks like they're not on this island. Should I build a boat first?"

Just then, his stomach let out a miserable growl.
"I'm starving! Sanji, I want food!"
When no one answered, he called again, "Sanji!"
There was still no response.
He remembered that none of his friends were with him.
"No matter how much I call for him, he isn't here."
He activated his Observation Haki!
Soon, he sensed a huge Kuma in the distance.

As a plume of cooking smoke rose, Kuma became fragrant roast meat.
"Why am I thinking of Lott now?" Luffy turned the meat, remembering the sight of Lott roasting meat.
Ace had been there back then, too.
Then he shuddered. "Ugh~ Better not think about it. That really left a shadow I can't shake off. It was even scarier than Gramps throwing me into the jungle."
As time passed, the aroma of roast meat gradually spread.
"Wow! That smells great! It's not as good as Sanji's, but it's still way better than Lott's cooking."
Luffy checked the color of the meat and pressed his palms together. "Time to dig in!"
In no time at all, he had eaten the entire Kuma.
Looking at his bulging stomach, he shouted, "Life Return!"
As his voice faded, his stomach gradually shrank until his body returned to its normal shape.
After eating and drinking his fill, he rested his hands behind his head, and
