Seeing Marguerite collapse into his arms, Luffy became terribly nervous.
In his mind, this girl was a good person. She had rescued him from a pile of freakish poisonous mushrooms and could be considered his lifesaver.
She had even treated him to food. She was simply the best person in the world.

What was a little strange, though, was that judging by her presence alone, the girl in his arms did not seem sick.

As Luffy spoke, he scooped Marguerite up into a bridal carry.
Feeling Luffy's movements, Marguerite instantly stiffened, her mind going blank as a puff of white smoke rose from her head.
