To Marguerite, the sight of Luffy wolfing down huge mouthfuls of roast meat was like the most beautiful scenery.
No matter how long she watched, she could never seem to get enough.
After tossing the last piece of meat into his mouth, Luffy lay down nearby with his arms behind his head and his enormous belly sticking up.
"All done, all done! I'm so full."
Luffy's mouth was covered in grease, and there were even scraps of roast meat on his cheeks.
His belly had swollen to many times its original size.
The red vest he wore had been pushed aside.
The eight sharply defined abdominal muscles on his stomach were nowhere to be seen.
He lay there lazily, without the slightest grace.
Even so, in Marguerite's eyes, Luffy still looked like a shining star.
She moved over to Luffy's side.
Reaching out a slender hand, she gently poked his belly.
"Luffy, you actually ate that entire wild boar! It was so big!"
Luffy turned to glance at Marguerite, then said smugly, "That's nothing! I could eat another one just as big!"
Marguerite was a little astonished. "S-Sugoi~"
Her hand kept poking his belly every now and then.
"Hahaha, impressive, right?" Luffy laughed proudly, then continued lying there, watching the sunset over the distant sea.
What he failed to notice was that he did not really like other people poking his belly.
And every time he ate until he was round as a ball, the first thing he did was use Life Return to digest it quickly.
He never let other people play with his belly.
For some reason, he did not mind Marguerite poking his belly like this.
Instead, he felt a faint attachment to the sensation.
But his powerful digestion made his belly gradually shrink with each breath.
