The guard captain pointed at Zephyr, his voice trembling slightly. "Y-you're Marine Admiral Zephyr?!"
"What?!"
At those words, all the guards around him looked astonished.
"Zephyr? Isn't he the former Marine Admiral? That terrifying guy known as the Marines' instructor."
"The Marine from the same era as Garp?"
Alarm bells immediately rang in the guard captain's mind when he recognized Zephyr. He called out, "May I ask what important business brings the former Marine Admiral to our Peach Spring?"
From what he knew, after leaving the Marines, Zephyr seemed to have established some new organization.
Its purpose was to deal with the pirates of the New World. Now that he had come to Peach Spring, his intentions were rather hard to say.
Meanwhile, his left hand inside his sleeve was using a Communicator developed by the Science Department to send a message to the Commander.
He was extremely wary of this seemingly retired old man. After all, this was a powerful figure from Garp's era; he could not afford to be careless.
As Peach Spring Guards, their duty was to protect Peach Spring's safety and keep anything that might harm it outside.
A trace of surprise flashed through Zephyr's eyes when he saw that his identity had been exposed.
Then he laughed and shook his head. "I never imagined anyone in this world still recognized a decrepit old man like me."
As the guards stood as though facing a formidable enemy, the guard captain's little movements also caught his eye.
But he paid them little mind.
Feeling the vibration from the Communicator in his left hand, the guard captain smiled at Zephyr. "I don't believe anyone in this world would dare treat you as just a retired old man."
He made a welcoming gesture. "Mr. Zephyr, please!"
