Ling'er raised an eyebrow and turned to Luo, who was sheathing his sword. "Pretty capable, aren't you?"
Nami and Robin looked curious as well.
Luo said, "I've just joined, so I ought to do something to show my worth."
But contrary to what everyone had imagined, no blood flowed from the octopus's cut surfaces. Even its separate parts were still wriggling.
Robin looked a little puzzled. "What's this?"
Luo explained, "This is the Op-Op Fruit's power. This circular space is one giant operating table. Surgery performed on it doesn't draw blood."
As he spoke, he extended a finger and directed it through the air. "Tact!"
The octopus pieces scattered across the ground flew into the air. Some tentacles joined other tentacles, while others were shoved onto the head.
Everyone was stunned by the sight.
Robin nodded. "So this is what's so remarkable about the Op-Op Fruit."
Lott was very pleased with the effect. "Not bad. Developing your fruit to this level truly makes you a genius."
He clapped his hands. "Let's go. We don't have time to waste on little things like this. Our real target is still a long way off."
With that, he flew ahead into the distance.
Ling'er turned into flames, Nami transformed into a white cloud, and Robin sprouted wings on her back. All of them followed Lott.
Luo tightened his grip on Kikoku. "So strong! Can I really keep up with them?"
"ROOM!"
He activated the Op-Op Fruit and teleported Bepo and the others onto the island ahead.
After traveling across several islands, a luxurious palace appeared before them.
"Th-this... this is Golden Lion's palace?" Bepo clutched Luo's clothes, his bear face filled with fear.
Luo casually knocked Bepo on the head. "What are you afraid of? Can you show a little backbone?"
