Doflamingo was efficient. In just three days, the shipment arrived in the Prodence Kingdom from Dressrosa through Deep Sea Shipping.

When the package arrived, Carina was lying on the sofa eating grapes. She popped a purplish-red grape into her mouth, and juice burst across her tongue, so sweet that her eyes narrowed. Then she saw Boer walk in through the door, followed by two Marines carrying a wooden crate half a person's height.

"It's here," Boer said.

Carina sprang off the sofa, ran barefoot up to the crate, and circled it twice.

The Dressrosa Kingdom's emblem was printed on the crate-a crowned skull above a crossed sword and shield. Red labels reading "Fragile" were attached to the corners, along with a line of small print: "Keep upright. Handle with care. Do not shake."

"What is it?" she asked, unable to hide the excitement in her voice.

"Open it and see."

Carina rubbed her hands together and carefully peeled off the seal on top of the crate. It was specially made, leaving a ring of silver marks on the lid once removed. Doflamingo's logistics team had considered even details like this, afraid the package might be switched during transit.

The lid opened to reveal two exquisite crystal boxes, nestled side by side in a thick layer of protective foam. The boxes were transparent, their walls about half a centimeter thick and polished smooth as mirrors, with several tiny airholes drilled into their lids. Fine, deep blue velvet lined the boxes, making their contents look as precious as jewels.

Boer stood behind her and took a look.

"Open the small one first," he said, lifting his chin toward the box on the left.

Carina carefully lifted out the crystal box on the left. It was small enough to rest in her palm.
