Bloodline enhancement and Tian Meng's Soul Skills

This month was a rare stretch of leisure for Huo Yuhao. Although he had many things to do, he could not rush them; even the cleverest cook could not make a meal without rice.

So Huo Yuhao set aside plenty of time to spend with his girlfriends. Ever since regaining his emotions, he had especially treasured the people before him. This also strengthened his intention to overthrow the Divine Realm.

"There is another method with rather demanding requirements: enhancing the power of one's bloodline. Qiu'er, Di Tian, and I are all descendants of the Dragon God. We all possess the Dragon God Bloodline, but in reality, it is simply impossible for us to raise it to the Dragon God's level."

"Why?"

"We only excel in certain areas. For example, mine are spiritual power and elemental control, while the Golden Dragon King's physical body is invincible. But that is relative, too. My physical constitution is hardly weak."

"That's right," Di Tian said. "Our lord is half of the Dragon God, after all. Even if physical strength is not her forte, she is still far stronger than the likes of us."

"Have you tried developing the power within your bloodlines?" Electrolux asked.

"No. To be precise, we don't know how to develop it at all." Gu Yuena was somewhat dejected. "Dragons are powerful by nature. Relying on instinct alone, we can stand proud beneath the heavens, and because of that, we neglected the study of bloodline power."

Then she looked at Huo Yuhao and said, "Yuhao, before you taught us what you knew, Soul Beasts, myself included, only knew how to fight using our innate abilities. That was arrogance."

Hearing their lord say this, the Ferocious Beasts could not help lowering their heads.

"Na'er, you don't need to blame yourself," Wang Dong'er consoled her. "Aren't humans actually the same? They rely too much on Martial Souls and Soul Skills, as though they don't know how to fight without them."

Huo Yuhao deeply agreed. "Because of Douluo Star's special rules, obtaining power is far too easy. This has also left people with almost no capacity for innovation."

"Yuhao, what do you have in mind?" Gu Yuena looked at Huo Yuhao with some anticipation.

"I can help you enhance the potential within your bloodlines."

Huo Yuhao nodded. He knew Biological Alchemy too, and could even modify adults. He simply had never performed the procedure himself, and he predicted that their strength would fall short of Adeptus Custodes modified from infancy.

On top of that, he did not know exactly how Soul Beasts and humans differed genetically. If only he had a Soul Beast cub born with a human form, or a Soul Beast that had just taken human form.

"But I can't do it for now. I still need to conduct some research."

"I can help too," Electrolux spoke up. He was also very interested in this field. Knowledge of this subject was scarce on the Holy Demon Continent as well.

In fact, in Huo Yuhao's view, most people's Soul Skills were inferior to Ning Tian's enhancement Soul Skills. At least, he had never seen skills in the Imperium that could boost a particular ability by a percentage for a short period without side effects.

However, Huo Yuhao had experienced them himself, and those Soul Skills did not have as dramatic an effect on him as they did on others.

But since Tian Meng had brought it up, there was no harm in testing them himself. A white Soul Ring appeared, a glimmer of light flashed across it, and then Huo Yuhao froze.

He had originally heard Na'er and Qiu'er say that Tian Meng was just a useless big worm, with only his remaining Spiritual Origin being of any use, and Huo Yuhao had not cared about Soul Skills to begin with.
