There was no sky here, no earth, only endless, gray-white nothingness. Light poured in from every direction, without direction or source. It simply existed. Toyotomi Yinglang stood in the void, his moon-white kariginu gleaming softly in the light. Toyotomi Liuli stood beside him, holding the spatial marker left by the Shadow Clone, a trace of nervousness on her face.
"This is the Ancestor Space?" Her voice was very quiet.
"Yes." Toyotomi Yinglang's voice was calm. "It's also your safe house."
Liuli's brow furrowed slightly. "Safe house?"
"Yes. A safe house." Toyotomi Yinglang nodded. "No one can hurt you here. The Sage of Six Paths can't get in, and neither can the Ōtsutsuki Clan. Only you can enter, and only you can bring others in."
Liuli's pupils contracted slightly. "Then... Kaguya..."
"Kaguya is still sealed." Toyotomi Yinglang interrupted her. "She can't get out. But she can communicate with you here."

"You are Hagoromo's descendant." Her voice was calm, like an echo rising from beneath the earth.
Toyotomi Yinglang looked at her, a faint smile curling his lips. "I am the Ancestors of the Toyotomi Clan."
Kaguya's brow furrowed slightly. "Toyotomi? Not Uchiha, not Senju?"
"No." Toyotomi Yinglang shook his head. "Toyotomi. The clan I founded."
Kaguya fell silent for a moment. "Hagoromo... how is he now?"
"Dead." Toyotomi Yinglang's voice was calm. "In the Pure Land. Harvesting souls."
