Planet No. 1, Mechanical God Cult base.
The base had expanded again. The perimeter walls had expanded outward seven times, the buildings had grown from several hundred to over a thousand, and the watchtowers had increased from dozens to over a hundred. Outside the base, the town had become a small city, and outside that city, new towns had sprung up. More and more tribes came to join them, and the total population had surpassed fifty thousand. Fifty thousand people consumed an astronomical amount of food every day, yet the base's granaries were always full. Seeds from the Harvest Fruit, together with the Mechanical God Cult's Divine Grace, had turned this barren land into a breadbasket. There were more and more robots, too. Labor robots worked in the fields, service robots cleaned the base, and combat robots stood guard on the watchtowers. They had no names, only numbers. They did not speak, only carried out orders.
Sasori stood in the middle of the laboratory, holding a thick report, his golden serpent eyes flickering slightly behind his lenses. Behind him stood rows of enormous Growth Chambers, with various biological tissue samples immersed inside. A faint smile touched his lips, a smile that held both satisfaction and pride.
The door was pushed open.
Toyotomi Yinglang walked in, his moon-white Kariginu gleaming softly under the laboratory lights. His steps were unhurried, his gaze sweeping over the Growth Chambers before finally settling on Sasori.
"Teacher." Sasori put down the report, turned, and bowed slightly.
"How are the robots progressing?" Toyotomi Yinglang's voice was calm.
"Very well." Sasori picked up a transparent container from the Control Console. Inside it, a pink, fist-sized lump of flesh was immersed in fluid, pulsing faintly.
"The Bionic Flesh has matured. In another
