The Liyue Qixing and the Adepti were now caught in a dilemma. Letting Osial go was out of the question. The Adepti currently held the advantage partly because Yucheng was strong enough to both attack and defend, and partly because Osial had been suppressed by Rex Lapis for over two thousand years. After breaking the seal, he had only a tenth or two of his strength at his peak.
If they really let him escape overseas and recuperate for years or even decades, the Adepti would no longer be able to stop him once his strength recovered.
But if they took advantage of his weakened state to kill him, the resentment left behind by a dead God would bring a true disaster upon Liyue Harbor.
Did they really... have to abandon Liyue Harbor and build a new city elsewhere? Wasn't that far too high a price?

Seeing the ants atop the Jade Chamber give up their attacks, Osial let out an unsettling laugh and continued toward Liyue Harbor. At the sight, the Adepti hurriedly attacked to stop his advance.
However, when they saw Osial take every attack without dodging, great quantities of blood pouring from his body, the Adepti could only stop, afraid that the next round of attacks would kill him on the spot.
Seeing the ants before him hesitate, Osial raised his enormous body again and sneered at those aboard the Jade Chamber. "Gods... Gods... To hell with the Heavenly Principles! How I hate this!"
After letting out that final roar, Osial launched a suicidal charge toward Liyue Harbor at full speed, with enough force to topple mountains and overturn seas.
