After the whole group came charging out, the door closed behind them, and the worked-up crowd stopped in their tracks as though someone had flipped a switch.
"Everyone okay?"
Ye Yizhou released his grip on the back of Jiang Shouyi's collar and leaned casually against the corridor wall, asking the people who had just been fighting him so fiercely.
"We're fine, we're fine."
"Everyone came prepared today. We brought all the gear we needed, so it's no big deal."
They waved their hands, none of them feeling any discomfort.
Only then did Ye Yizhou nod in relief. Then he saw Jiang Shouyi, still sitting on the floor, raise his hand and demand indignantly, "Why aren't you asking if I'm okay?"
Ye Yizhou looked Jiang Shouyi up and down. "You didn't take part in that brawl at all. Now you're trying to pin this on me?"
"I'm not pinning anything on you. I have a serious problem!" Jiang Shouyi said angrily.
Ye Yizhou asked in amusement, "What problem could you possibly have?"
"You just dragged me out like that! Don't I have any dignity?"
Jiang Shouyi covered his face with his hands, looking as though the sky were falling.
"I don't want to keep beating a dead horse, but was that really more embarrassing than that video of yours?" Ye Yizhou asked helplessly.
Jiang Shouyi's expression crumpled. He sprang up from the floor in a flash and raised a hand. "Enough. Don't say another word. I never want to think about that again for the rest of my life."
"Hurry up and get ready for the next part."
As soon as Ye Yizhou finished speaking, a small team came over carrying makeup cases and expertly began applying fake wounds to their faces.
"How was our acting just now? Pretty convincing, right?"
