Yūto glanced at the Three-Tails sealed by the Desert Layered Imperial Funeral Seal, then looked at Kisame.
"Kisame, you're a rogue ninja from Kirigakure. Entering Konoha rashly would cause unnecessary trouble." After a moment's thought, he continued,
"Stay here and guard the seal. Make sure nobody damages it."
With Samehada resting on his shoulder, Kisame grinned. "Fine. I'm not particularly interested in Konoha anyway."
He paused, his gaze sweeping over the dazed Kakashi. "But are you sure he's all right?"
"I'll handle it." Yūto formed hand seals and created a shadow clone. "Go to the front line and report what happened here to Jiraiya."
The shadow clone nodded and vanished with the Body Flicker Technique.
Yūto turned to Kakashi. "Let's go. Rin needs treatment as soon as possible."
Kakashi nodded silently and followed Yūto.
The two quickly left the battlefield, racing toward Konoha.
The Uchiha Clan Compound
Mikoto stood outside Yūto's home and knocked gently.
"Pakura, are you in?"
The door slid open, and Pakura poked her head out. Seeing Mikoto, she paused in surprise. "Mikoto? What is it?"
Mikoto sighed. "Shukaku's gone missing again. Have you seen him?"
Pakura shook her head. "No. He disappeared first thing this morning."
Mikoto pressed a hand to her forehead. "That child is always running off."
Pakura more or less knew the situation with Shukaku.
Although Shukaku had been placed in Fugaku's household, he had no intention of being confined to the yard.
At first, Shukaku had been content to roam around the clan compound.
Later, when Shukaku realized nobody was restricting him, he expanded his range to all of Konoha.
Fugaku usually had work to handle at the Konoha Military Police Force, so looking after Shukaku naturally fell to Mikoto.
Pakura reassured her, "Don't worry. He's mischievous, but he won't cause any
