With that said, Yūto was just about to bring up returning to Konoha with Tsukimi when Yahiko spoke again.
With a hint of anticipation and appeal on his face, Yahiko said earnestly, "Mr. Yūto, the three of us are going to see Lord Hanzō. You're so strong-could we hire you as our bodyguard?"
Yūto was startled at first, then amused. This guy wasn't stupid; he knew to find someone to back him up.
But he deliberately put on a troubled expression as he looked at Yahiko. "Oh? Hire me? That depends on what you're offering. Hiring me as a bodyguard won't come cheap!"
Yahiko was a little nervous. After thinking it over carefully, he felt that Akatsuki was simply too poor to afford Yūto, so he asked tentatively, "Um, could we pay you later?"
Yūto nearly burst out laughing. He shook his head and said helplessly, "On credit? With Akatsuki's current size, you don't have enough credibility for that, do you?"
