After a noisy journey, Minato Namikaze and the others finally arrived at the front line against Iwagakure.
"Hahahaha, you're finally here." Before they even entered the Operations Command Room, Sōkyū Hatake heard Jiraiya's laughter.
"Master Jiraiya," Minato Namikaze said respectfully. He still held Jiraiya in great esteem.
"Sōkyū Hatake, I've heard a lot about you." After nodding to Minato Namikaze, Jiraiya walked straight up to Sōkyū Hatake.
"Lord Jiraiya, I've heard a lot about you, too," Sōkyū Hatake said, looking at Jiraiya and his long white hair.
"Hahaha, you've heard all about my glorious deeds, haven't you!" Jiraiya said happily.
"No, Lord Jiraiya. What I heard about was all your peeping," Sōkyū Hatake said very seriously, while Minato Namikaze helplessly covered his face beside him.
"Peeping?! Which bastard has been spreading rumors behind my back?!" Jiraiya said indignantly. Who was it! Who on earth was it!?
"Lady Tsunade told me," Sōkyū Hatake said with a mischievous grin.
"Uh... so it was Tsunade." Sure enough, Jiraiya looked as though someone had seized him by the throat, leaving him somewhat at a loss for words.
"That's right."
"Ahem, never mind, then. Minato, you're here to take over this time, so we're counting on you to handle Iwagakure. How does it feel to be Commander-in-Chief for the first time?" Jiraiya hurriedly changed the subject.
As for Tsunade, he certainly wouldn't dare say anything to her face.
"Master Jiraiya, I'll make sure to do my job properly," Minato Namikaze said calmly.
"Good. I'll leave this place to you, then. The Handover Documents are all on the desk, and I'll be heading somewhere else today," Jiraiya said magnanimously.
"Yes, Master Jiraiya." Minato Namikaze promptly saluted.
"All right, all right. With Little Sōkū here to help you, I'm sure there won't be any problems." Jiraiya winked
