"Orochimaru." Orochimaru turned around and saw Tsunade standing in the doorway of the Hokage Office, drinking from a sake gourd she held in one hand.
"How dare you! Tsunade, are you planning to join Orochimaru in this nonsense?!" Danzo's heart sank when he saw Tsunade.
Who was Tsunade? She was the granddaughter of the First Hokage, the God of Shinobi, and the princess of all Konoha. If she went with Orochimaru, he would lose his chance to act against him!
Besides, if Tsunade went, things would become truly difficult.
He could hardly lump Tsunade's situation together with Orochimaru's.
After all, her status spoke for itself.
In Danzo's eyes, he might be able to lead those ignorant villagers astray, but if the person in question changed to Tsunade, her fanatical admirers would not believe his rumors so easily.
It might even backfire!
"Danzo, since you can't make the decision, I'll decide for myself. I'll go with Orochimaru to the Iwagakure front. What do you think of that?" Tsunade stared at Danzo with blazing eyes.
She had learned a few things, so she had her own views on the matter.
Someone like Danzo would only ever be a parasite on Konoha!
"Think it through carefully! This is a serious matter!" Danzo said bluntly.
"Since it's so serious, we'll decide for ourselves. Orochimaru, let's go." Tsunade glared at Danzo, then turned and walked straight out of the Hokage Office.
"Heh heh heh, how interesting." Orochimaru chuckled, then followed her out of the Hokage Office.
Inside the Hokage Office, Danzo looked grim. His plan had been excellent: as long as Orochimaru dared to leave, he would make an issue of it!
But now that Tsunade had become involved, he was at something of a loss.
