"Just as I thought. His goal was to gain the previous Queen's trust, obtain the power of the Ryūmyaku, and keep expanding his Puppet Army. Then, when the Queen found out, he plotted to murder your mother. Now that the Puppet Army is complete, he wants to get rid of you and keep using the Ryūmyaku to fulfill his dream of destroying the Five Great Nations." Sōkyū Hatake shrugged as he spoke. That said, his own goal was the Ryūmyaku too.
Unlike Anrokuzan, though, he had not deceived Sara.
"Then what's your goal?" Sara glanced at Sōkyū Hatake, still somewhat wary.
"My goal is love and peace, of course. You helped me out once, after all. Shouldn't I return the favor?" Sōkyū Hatake looked at Sara with a grin.
"Really?" Sara was inexperienced in the ways of the world, after all, and she looked at Sōkyū Hatake doubtfully.
"Of course. Otherwise, I could have gone back long ago, couldn't I?"
"Then I'll trust you this once. But you still have to tell me exactly what your goal is. Did you come for the Ryūmyaku too?" Sara's mind finally cleared for once.
She felt that no one would be kind to you for no reason, unless they had some other purpose in approaching you.
"Yes, I came for the Ryūmyaku too, but I don't want to destroy the Five Great Nations." Sōkyū Hatake was frank and stated his goal outright.
"What will you do after you obtain the Ryūmyaku?" Sara felt a little weary. Why had every one of them come for the Ryūmyaku?
"I... I'll probably end the war outside. The Third Shinobi World War
