For an instant, everyone seemed to forget what had just happened, shocked instead by Hagoromo Otsutsuki's voice.
"Sakumo, Lord Hagoromo Otsutsuki... did he just say Sōkyū Hatake's name?" Minato Otsutsuki had been watching Hagoromo Otsutsuki above them all along. None of those present were weak, so naturally, they could hear Hagoromo Otsutsuki's voice.
Sōkyū Hatake?
"I think... I heard that right. Sōkū?" Hatake Sakumo was somewhat dazed. When he looked behind him, he found that, at some point, a strange smile had appeared on Sōkyū Hatake's face.
"Father, he's right. He's calling my name." Sōkyū Hatake smiled slightly, then walked to the very front.
"Sōkū?" For some reason, looking at Sōkyū Hatake now, Hatake Sakumo suddenly had a feeling.
This seemed... not to be the Sōkyū Hatake he knew.
"Everything has some novel connections of cause and effect. I originally wanted to verify a few things. Father, and all my other elders, everything... will get better." After leaving them with those words, Sōkyū Hatake kept walking, heading straight ahead.
Yet in everyone's eyes, Sōkyū Hatake seemed like a different person now.
"Sōkū! Don't go out there. I'm still here!" Just then, a figure suddenly blocked Sōkyū Hatake's path, halting his advance.
Looking at the white hair before him, just like his own, Sōkyū Hatake suddenly froze for a moment.
Yes, the person standing in his way was none other than Sōkyū Hatake's father in this world, Hatake Sakumo!
"Father, standing in my way right now isn't a very wise choice." As Sōkyū Hatake looked at Hatake Sakumo's resolute gaze, for some reason, a different sort of feeling seemed to arise in his heart.
"Your old man isn't dead yet. Why would it be your turn to go up there?" Hatake Sakumo said calmly, his heart filled with mixed feelings
