• Qi Yuan switched from the Byakugan back to the Rinnegan and summoned three Limbo clones, realizing the missing fourth might not have dissipated.
• A Limbo clone picked up one of Qi Yuan’s Black Rods and traveled farther from him than before, showing that his clones were developing new abilities.
• The clone crossed the barrier only partly, and Qi Yuan decided not to swap places with it because the forces of the two spaces could crush him.
• In a distant space, Gu Zimei asked Qi Yuan whether the presence he pursued belonged to his sister-in-law, and he denied it while warning her to train.

As Qi Yuan remained immersed inside the barrier, the Six Paths of Pain and their allies attacked Desolate Heaven City with Xuntong’s vast supply of Explosive Tags. The barrier fell, the city suffered heavy destruction, and the summoned beasts advanced inside as the defenders struggled to respond.

• Fengzhou’s Guardians entered the ruined Fengmang Realm and confirmed that Qi Yuan had destroyed it; news also arrived that the Huanxuan Realm had fallen and Qi Yuan had cleared most S-Rank Secret Realm Spaces in Yu Province.
• A large force of Demon Beasts and more than fifty King Beasts gathered outside Desolate Heaven City, prompting Yu Wang to order the Guardians to retreat.
• Deva Path Pain sent Xuntong forward, and Xuntong used his Secret Art, Dance of the Shikigami, to unleash six hundred billion Explosive Tags against the city’s barrier.
• The Explosive Tags shattered Desolate Heaven City’s barrier and blasted the city, killing many Guardians who had not evacuated.
• Animal Path used the Amplification Summoning Technique to send summoned beasts multiplying under attack into the city, while the remaining Foreign Race members prepared to invade.

Yu Wang and his disciples trapped Pain’s forces and killed several Paths, but Deva Path Pain revived some of them and devastated Desolate Heaven City with Super Shinra Tensei. Hongye arrived to save Yu Wang and confronted Pain, demanding that he use Rinne Rebirth.

• Xuntong’s Explosive Tags devastated Desolate Heaven City until Yu Wang flooded the city, and a Water Severing Wave killed Preta Path and Xuntong.
• Yu Wang and his disciples used Bringer-of-Darkness and Four Red Yang Formation to trap Pain’s forces while Yu Wang’s Spirit Transformation Technique killed the Foreign Races and disabled Human Path and Animal Path.
• Deva Path Pain broke the formation, killed three of Yu Wang’s disciples, and Naraka Path revived Animal Path and Asura Path.

Hongye saved Yu Wang and destroyed the Six Paths of Pain with his tailed beast chakra, Perfect Susanoo, and gravity dōjutsu. After sending Wood Clones to protect Desolate Heaven City, he turned toward Huang Tian’s hidden true body as Huang Tian unleashed a far stronger chakra surge.

• Hongye healed Yu Wang and promised he could bring Desolate Heaven City’s dead back to life.
• Huang Tian used the Deva Path to attack Hongye with Banshō Ten’in, but Hongye struck the puppet with a tailed beast chakra tail.
• Hongye manifested his Perfect Susanoo and shattered the forming Planetary Devastation with a Yasaka Magatama.

Huang Tian arrived in Desolate Heaven City wielding two Rinnegan and overwhelmed Qi Yuan’s Perfect Susanoo and One-Tail. As Huang Tian appeared immune to their chakra-based attacks, Hongye prepared to fight back with Sage Art: Seal-less Healing.

• Qi Yuan defeated Deva Path while Hongye’s Wood Clones drove the Foreign Races and Demon Beasts from Desolate Heaven City.
• Huang Tian arrived with two Rinnegan, dismissed Yu Wang, and challenged Qi Yuan’s Perfect Susanoo.
• Huang Tian used Shinra Tensei to deflect Qi Yuan’s Chakra Greatsword, then charged in and made Susanoo dissolve with his Black Rods.

Qi Yuan used Sage Art: Wood Release: True Several Thousand Hands to defeat Huang Tian, but Huang Tian struck back with a Black Rod before Qi Yuan could secure him. Yanling revealed his Rinnegan, freed Qi Yuan, and prepared to force Huang Tian to use Rinne Rebirth, while Black Zetsu and White Zetsu’s loyalty to Huang Tian came into question.

• Qi Yuan summoned the enormous True Several Thousand Hands and battered Huang Tian into a deep pit, leaving him near death.
• Qi Yuan entered the pit and picked Huang Tian up, but a Black Rod pierced Qi Yuan and immobilized him.
• Yanling appeared with a Rinnegan, used Banshō Ten'in to pull Huang Tian close, and removed the Black Rod from Qi Yuan.
• Qi Yuan said they would make Huang Tian use Rinne Rebirth, but Huang Tian refused to resurrect anyone and mocked their plan.
• Black Zetsu and White Zetsu emerged, and Black Zetsu challenged Huang Tian’s belief that he had created them.

Black Zetsu controlled Huang Tian and forced him to use Rinne Rebirth, restoring the dead of Desolate Heaven City at the cost of Huang Tian’s life and Rinnegan. Yanling and Hongye emerged from the pit with Huang Tian’s body, while the resurrected city residents turned against the surviving Foreign Races.

• Black Zetsu possessed Huang Tian and revealed that Cangnan had manipulated him and held the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path.
• Yanling ordered White Zetsu to give Huang Tian chakra so he could perform Rinne Rebirth, and Black Zetsu made him form the seals.
• Huang Tian used Outer Path: Rinne Rebirth, summoning the King of Hell and releasing the souls of the dead from Desolate Heaven City.
• Yu Wang, his disciples, and the dead Foreign Races and Demon Beasts returned to life, and the resurrected King Yong and others attacked the Foreign Races.

• King Yong and the others recalled that their souls had been drawn toward a whirlpool and attacked by Black Monsters before Pain's King of Hell revived them.
• Yanling stopped Yu Wang from sending Guardians to the S-Rank Secret Realm Spaces and offered to handle them himself.
• Qi Yuan formed a Perfect Susanoo and unleashed Tengai Shinsei, bringing down more than thirty meteorites over Desolate Heaven City.
• King Yong connected an earlier meteorite strike near Fengzhou to Qi Yuan and suspected that Qi Yuan's main body also possessed the Rinnegan.

Gu Huan and Zhao Hua questioned the history of humanity after learning about the portrait’s connection to the Foreign Races, but a mysterious force made them forget their suspicions. When Zhao Hua opened the box behind the portrait, its spiritual owner killed him and tried to take Gu Huan’s body, but Gu Huan absorbed the spirit and gained new power.

• Gu Huan and Zhao Hua identified the portrait’s figure as the god who gave the Demon Beasts Chakra and wondered why humanity’s history before the invasion was unknown to them.
• A young man in a distant cottage noticed their discovery through a phantom sword and said the master’s Illusion could not be escaped.
• Gu Huan removed the portrait and handed Zhao Hua the wooden box hidden behind it.
• Golden light escaped the box, killed Zhao Hua, and formed the portrait’s figure in spiritual form, which pursued Gu Huan and tried to transform his body.
• Gu Huan resisted the possession and devoured the weakened spiritual body, gaining strength and knowledge about the Ōtsutsuki, the Ten-Tails, and Six Paths-level power.
• Gu Huan sensed the Ten-Tails near the border between Yu Province and Central Province and declared that the game could not continue without him.

Qi Yuan’s destruction of the Desolate Heaven Realm sent shockwaves through the Nine Provinces Alliance as his Wood Clones swept through other S-Rank Secret Realm Spaces. In the Cangnan Realm, Cangnan began transforming the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path into the Ten-Tails, while Black Zetsu’s restored memories revealed a connection to Kaguya Ōtsutsuki and raised questions about Qi Yuan.

• Qi Yuan’s feats spread across the Nine Provinces Alliance, and his Wood Clones began wiping out high-level Demon Beasts in S-Rank Secret Realm Spaces.
• Cangnan finished sealing the Tailed Beast Chakra into the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path and learned from Black Zetsu and White Zetsu that Qi Yuan had killed Huang Tian.
• Cangnan summoned the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path near Central Province, where it began transforming into the Ten-Tails and alarmed the Guardians.

• White Zetsu warned Yanling that something was seriously wrong with Black Zetsu.
• Wu Kun rode his giant white bird toward the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path and attacked it with explosive clay, causing it to transform into the Ten-Tails.
• The Ten-Tails fired a Tailed Beast Bomb that killed Wu Chuan and more than a thousand Guardians of Central Province.

Qi Yuan strengthened his Rinnegan to its Six-Tomoe form, created nine Truth-Seeking Orbs, and improved his Limbo Clones while trapped in the Fengmang Realm. When one clone passed through the weakening barrier, Qi Yuan switched places with it and escaped into the real world.

• Yu Wang teleported the Ten-Tails' Tailed Beast Bomb away and told the assembled Guardians that Qi Yuan was recovering.
• Gu Huan studied the Ten-Tails, recalled what he had learned about the Ōtsutsuki Clan, and planned to seize its master and make the world his back garden.
• Qi Yuan used his accumulated Enhancement Points to advance his Rinnegan to the Six-Tomoe form and strengthen his Six Paths Power.

Wu Chuan sacrificed himself in a devastating explosion against the Ten-Tails, but Cangnan freed it from Yu Wang’s sealing barrier and began absorbing it. Hongye and Yanling allowed Cangnan to complete the Ten-Tails Coffin Seal, leaving him in agony as he transformed into a Ten-Tails Jinchuriki.

• Wu Chuan sent his giant clay incarnation into the Ten-Tails and detonated it, sacrificing himself in a massive pentagram-shaped blast that failed to kill the beast.
• Yu Wang and the other High-Level Kings trapped the Ten-Tails in a Four Red Yang Formation, where its own attacks struck it and its body repeatedly regenerated.
• Cangnan arrived, absorbed the Guardians’ Five Element Ninjutsu, and used Shinra Tensei to drive them away and break the barrier.

• Cangnan tore through the Four Red Yang Formation and killed more than a hundred people before Hongye stopped the Ten-Tails' arms.
• Cangnan revealed his Truth-Seeking Orbs, blocked the Guardians' attacks, and turned nearby fighters to dust with an orb shaped like a sword.
• Cangnan said he would reclaim the One-Tail and Four-Tails, then attacked Hongye and Yanling with Truth-Seeking Orbs and flames.
• Yanling used Perfect Susanoo to repel one Truth-Seeking Orb, while Hongye kicked the other away and explained that Rinnegan users could touch them.

• Cangnan unleashed Wood Release: World of Trees Birth, draining the chakra of thousands of Guardians while Yanling rescued only a few.
• Hongye and Yanling evaded Cangnan's Ten-Tails chakra hands with Flying Thunder God, but he destroyed their Gates of the Great God and sealed them inside a Six Red Yang Formation.

• Hongye and Yanling’s Susanoo Buddha Forms shattered five of Cangnan’s Truth-Seeking Orbs and drove him deep into a vast crater before their chakra ran low and they stopped attacking.
• Cangnan emerged badly injured but rapidly recovered, then judged that Hongye and Yanling could not immediately repeat their strongest attack.
• Gu Huan considered using his blank portrait to intervene but decided to wait for a safer opportunity.

• The God Tree's flower began opening toward the blood moon, and Cangnan prepared to use Infinite Tsukuyomi once it matured.
• Yanling and Hongye sealed Cangnan inside Planetary Devastation, but he broke free after spending considerable chakra.

Yanling and Hongye extracted the Ten-Tails from Cangnan, took his Rinnegan and Kamui Sharingan, then resealed the Nine Tailed Beasts and split the Ten-Tails between their Wood Clones. Black Zetsu realized Qi Yuan’s plans had departed from the script he expected.

• Yanling used the Tailed Beast Release Hand Seal while Hongye brutally struck Cangnan, speeding the extraction of the Ten-Tails and releasing the Nine Tailed Beasts.
• Yanling gouged out Cangnan’s Rinnegan and implanted it in his own eye socket, while Cangnan collapsed and Black Zetsu withdrew from him.
• Hongye summoned the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, which captured and resealed the Nine Tailed Beasts with its purple chains.

Gu Huan took Hongye’s body, but Hongye’s attempt to merge with Yanling was blocked when Black Zetsu possessed him, only to find Yanling’s consciousness resisting.

• Black Zetsu watched Hongye and Yanling struggle with the Ten-Tails and prepared to strike as one of them became its Jinchuriki.
• Gu Huan used a simulated Ōtsutsuki form to enter Hongye’s body, forcing Hongye to escape in spirit form with the Spirit Transformation Technique.

• Black Zetsu tried to convince Gu Huan to attack Yanling and activate Infinite Tsukuyomi, but Gu Huan distrusted him.
• Black Zetsu urged Gu Huan to act before Yanling regained control, and Gu Huan summoned the God Tree and flew toward the moon.

Yanling watched Gu Huan unleash the Infinite Tsukuyomi and used his Perfect Susanoo to protect Yu Wang and the others. As Gu Huan began draining chakra across the connected worlds, Hongye’s spirit followed an unknown pull into the sky, while Kaguya’s awakening drew closer.

• Hongye felt an unknown force pulling his spirit toward another place and left to investigate.
• Gu Huan activated the Infinite Tsukuyomi, awakening Kaguya’s consciousness, while Black Zetsu rejoiced at the prospect of seeing her again.
• Yanling teleported to Yu Wang and sheltered him and the others inside his Perfect Susanoo as the Infinite Tsukuyomi spread across the Nine Provinces Alliance and connected worlds.

Hongye discovered that the Nine Provinces Alliance’s afterlife was connected to a world where Hollows captured and devoured spirits, then returned as Yanling fought Gu Huan after Infinite Tsukuyomi. Yanling gained the upper hand with the Seventh Gate, but Black Zetsu struck Gu Huan from behind to hasten Kaguya’s resurrection.

• Hongye followed the spirits into the mist and saw Hollows capture them and feed hundreds to a Menos Grande beyond a gateway marked by Aizen’s Illusion.
• Gu Huan descended after casting Infinite Tsukuyomi, and Yanling fought him while most of the world remained trapped in dreams.
• Yanling used Sage Art techniques to suppress Gu Huan, who struggled to adapt to his borrowed body as Black Zetsu watched and plotted to free Kaguya.

Kaguya emerged in the Nine Provinces Alliance, Central Province, as Yanling captured the remnant of Gu Huan's spirit and watched her awaken.

• Black Zetsu pinned Gu Huan and channeled chakra into him until Kaguya Ōtsutsuki's consciousness consumed his body.
• On the Ōtsutsuki Home Planet, a young Ōtsutsuki considered sending Ōtsutsuki Haishiki and his retainer to plant a God Tree.
