Time flew by, and six days passed in the blink of an eye.
Crack. A crisp breaking sound rang out. At the center of the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well, a crack suddenly appeared at the top of the oval Seven-Colored Giant Egg, which had grown to three meters tall.
It rapidly spread downward, while pieces of milky-white fragments suffused with Seven-Colored Luster drifted down and dissipated.
After a few blinks, the crack had widened to the width of three fingers, with Seven-Colored Luster flowing within.
A moment later, "Hm?" Inside the eggshell, Zhu Wu, who had been half-asleep, sensed the resistance around him becoming increasingly unbearable. Unable to endure it any longer, he abruptly woke up. He then felt as though he had been stuffed into a tightly sealed jar with barely any room, and no matter how he shifted, he felt uncomfortable. His brows furrowed instinctively as he used both hands and feet to slam outward with all his strength.
Then he realized something was wrong. His current body did not seem to be humanoid, but more like a beast's.
Having switched into beast form to fight while in Martial Soul Possession before, he could fully recognize this sensation.
Poof! Under the impact, large amounts of milky-white fragments suffused with Seven-Colored Luster scattered through the air. Red and blue light shone in from outside, illuminating his vision.
The first thing he saw was Di Tian's face on the shore, filled with astonishment as he tilted his head up to look over.
Something was wrong. Very wrong!
Zhu Wu instinctively lowered his head to examine himself, and his pupils instantly contracted. They were not human hands, but beast claws covered in fine, milky-white scales. Below them, his belly was segmented like a snake's underside. Around him were eggshell fragments that were continuously dissolving and vanishing, and beneath him lay a strange red-and-blue crystal that held up both the Seven-Colored Giant Egg and himself.
"Zhu Wu, there is no need to be surprised," Di Tian's voice came. "Your current state should be your form after Dragon Transformation."
"Your Treasure Seeking Beast clan was personally nurtured by Lord Dragon God, after all. Your bodies naturally carry traces of Lord Dragon God's bloodline aura. Combined with your unique Illusion Transformation ability, you are also known within our Dragon Clan as Illusion Dragons. However, it is precisely because of that Dragon God Bloodline aura that completing Dragon Transformation is exceedingly difficult for you. You must consume an enormous amount of Heavenly Materials and Earthly Treasures to achieve sublimation."
"Lord Dragon God once told me that for your clan to undergo Dragon Transformation, you might need to accumulate enough power to break through into the realm of a God King."
"The fact that you completed this step so early has two reasons. First, the Water and Fire Dragon Kings have integrated into your body the sealed Dragon God Bloodline that Lord Dragon God granted them long ago to enhance their abilities. This greatly increased the concentration of Dragon God Bloodline within you."
"Second, it should be related to the fact that you currently possess a human body. The physical body of a Treasure Hiding Beast was nurtured by Lord Dragon God for countless years. To further elevate its life level, the amount of energy it needs to accumulate is immense. A human body, on the other hand, is innately frail. Thus, the energy required to evolve into the next level of life is far less, and reconstructing the physical body is much easier as well."
Simply put, Treasure Hiding Beasts, a branch of Treasure Seeking Beasts, had too high a starting point for evolution. Zhu Wu instantly understood Di Tian's meaning.
Moreover, a change in form did not mean his strength had reached the God King realm. At most, it meant he might possess that potential in the future.
So, he was still just a weakling with the appearance of a Dragon Clan member!
Of course, that was only relative.
On the Douluo Continent, among Soul Masters of his age, he was absolutely a major boss. He could feel that his current physical strength was even greater than when he had switched into the beast form of the Silver Eagle Beast, at least three times stronger.
That was pretty incredible!
He also understood what Di Tian meant by the seals being integrated. Given the state of his current body, he could not absorb much of it and could only keep it sealed away for gradual absorption.
He was a human, and only a two-ringed Soul Grandmaster at that. How much could he possibly fuse?
As expected of the Dragon God Bloodline. It was truly insane!
The bloodline concentration had only risen slightly, yet the enhancement it brought to his body was already this great. He only felt overwhelmingly powerful right now!
Naturally, that Ninth Grade Dragon Ganoderma had surely played a part as well.
With that thought, he nodded at Di Tian and activated the Eye of Life to examine his condition, inside and out.
Damn, was this some kind of moth-dragon hybrid? It was handsome, though! Within the Eye of Life's vision, a giant dragon stood quietly atop a red-and-blue crystal floating at the center of the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well. It stood three meters tall and was nearly twenty meters long.
It had Horns atop its head and whiskers extending from its snout. Its torso clearly bore the outline of an Eastern dragon, except it had an extra pair of enormous wings.
Its Dragon Body was entirely milky-white like jade, covered in fine scales. Its dorsal fins stood in neat, blade-like rows, while enormous wings grew from both sides. The outer sides were densely covered in dragon scales, while the Wing Membranes on the inner sides were stained with Seven-Colored patterns like ripples on water, making them exceptionally gorgeous.
He felt that the patterns looked very similar to those on butterfly wings.
It had to be said, the wings were truly huge and broad, even connected to his waist. Their span looked to exceed ten meters.
Silkworms turn into moths and bugs turn into butterflies. Having a few of those traits doesn't seem all that strange. He could not help thinking.
Looking higher, his head was quite unique, especially the two large dragon horns extending from beside his ears. Sharp branches extended from the outside of each horn, both rising straight upward. Seven-Colored Luster stained the areas where the gaps met from the front, while the empty space between the two horns formed a teardrop shape.
His pair of vertical pupils were silver, and there was still a Seven-Colored Dragon Scale between his brows.
Looking lower, his forelimbs resembled human arms. They were not particularly thick, yet they appeared extremely powerful. Five hooked claws extended from the tips of his fingers, looking incomparably sharp.
His hind limbs were somewhat thicker and divided into three segments, standing in a bent posture. However, they only had four claws and looked more beastlike.
His tail was very long, nearly accounting for half his entire body length. A row of extremely sharp hooked spikes grew along the rear sections of his back. It gave the impression that a single sweep of his tail could pierce straight through an enemy.
Sweeping his gaze over his body, he saw that, like the large dragon horns, the areas where the scales on his belly met were also suffused with Seven-Colored patterns.
When he turned to Internal Vision, Zhu Wu could not help freezing.
The internal space had actually become nine separate spaces, each with a diameter exceeding three meters. The strangest were the three in the middle. One on the left was filled with flames, red tinged with orange, while one on the right was filled with frost, white tinged with blue, sandwiching the central one between them.
The middle one was filled with white mist, while the various herbs he had gathered before floated around it.
Did I just create a fake Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well inside myself? Zhu Wu was slightly astonished.
"What about my Martial Soul, Little White?"
"Am I in beast form under Martial Soul Possession, or have I completely become a soul beast?" That question suddenly occurred to him.
Then, he felt a stream of information forcefully flood into his mind, giving him no chance to react.
"So that's how it is!"
"By activating the Dragon God Bloodline within me, my Martial Soul returned to its origin and completely merged with my physical body, revealing the form of a True Dragon."
"This is not like Martial Soul Possession, where Soul Power is used to form an illusion, nor is it similar to a Martial Soul Avatar. Instead, it is my bloodline being stimulated and my physical body transforming into a real dragon."
According to the inherited information in his mind, this ability was now one of his innate abilities.
