After Jiang Man and the others registered, they were assigned accommodations.
The cultivation they registered was all early-stage Return to the Void.
Not particularly high, but certainly not low.
Yet even so, they were told they would have to share rooms.
It left Jiang Man somewhat rueful. Did these people not understand how powerful Return to the Void cultivators were?
It was not as though Immortals flocked here. Where did their confidence come from?
Jiang Man sensed his surroundings. Their confidence probably came from the ship's formations.
The formations could suppress the spread of power.
But...
Were they not going to register their proficiency in formations?
If a fight broke out here and caused a catastrophe, who would bear the consequences?
At this point, Qing Dai frowned slightly. "Shared rooms?"
She said earnestly, "My miss and I need a double room. No one else can stay with us."
Jiang Man looked at the Middle-aged Man handling registration, thought for a moment, then said, "I want a single room with a courtyard."
Qing Dai looked at Jiang Man in surprise.
Ji Meng followed up, "I want a single room with a courtyard too."
The man handling registration raised his brows slightly, looking at the two of them as though they were idiots.
You think you still get a say after coming here?
Finally, he said, "Take it or leave it."
Helpless, Jiang Man said, "Then we'll leave."
With that, he really did turn and walk away.
Ji Meng followed without the slightest hesitation.
But someone stopped them just as they turned.
The guard who had led them over was somewhat flustered and told the registrar that Lord Bai had brought them.
Hearing this, the registrar frowned. "A courtyard is out of the question. A double room is the best you'll get."
