Jiang Man survived the Black Spirit Abyss, exposed infiltrators, and fought off several attempts to kill him while cultivating and teaching at the Sect. After receiving a destiny that required him to establish an Immortal Ascension Daoist Site, he set out to recruit independent sects and arrived at Shuihe City, where the Three Rivers Sect prepared to hide its abuses.

• Jiang Man defeated the demon beasts in the Black Spirit Abyss, subdued Mu Kong, and escaped the blockade under the identity of Drunken Floating Life.
• Yang Zhao tried to kill Jiang Man, but Jiang Man killed him and later exposed agents plotting to provoke conflict between the Immortal Gates.
• Jiang Man destroyed the ancient well-type evil god’s source, then used a formation to create an avatar of Mu Kong and sent it to work outside the Sect.

After winning the Primordial Spirit assessment, he secured three possible locations for the Hall and arranged for the next assessment to begin.

• Jiang Man exposed the Three Rivers Sect’s collusion with an Evil God, brought the sect under Wuyun Sect’s jurisdiction, and helped establish new governance and education programs.
• Jiang Man broke the Sanhe Immortal Spirit’s chains, then negotiated the Azure City Sect’s and Moonlit Sect’s submission to Wuyun Sect while investigating dangerous formations and a hidden Sword Mound.
• Jiang Man sent Ji Meng a Supreme Law stone and survived a major assault on the Moonlit Sect, then learned from Ting Fengyin how to disrupt the Evil God’s formations and establish an Immortal Ascension Daoist Site.
• Jiang Man advanced to Primordial Spirit Perfection, taught cultivation methods to his companions, and used Drunken Floating Life to trade information about the Formation Arts Evil God and rumors involving the Ji Family.

Jiang Man defeated the Bai Family Ancestor, established an Immortal Ascension Daoist Site in the Supreme Heart Hall, and earned a place in the Return to the Void Secret Realm. The arc ends with Jiang Man inside the realm as enemies search for him and Ji Meng prepares to confront people coming after her.

• Jiang Man completed his assessment by defeating nine opponents with his fused suns, then faced an enormous bill for the damage to the plaza.
• Jiang Man trained with Ting Fengyin, then chose the sea-region mission to find the Supreme Heart Hall and arranged to take the Upper Court Assessment as a mission.
• Jiang Man traveled to Primordial Mountain with Shen Yao, Zhao Li, and Chen Jinmu, where the islanders sent them into the Forbidden Mountain Range under false pretenses.
• Jiang Man returned to the Wuyun Sect and joined Ji Meng and Qing Dai in confronting Mr. Bai, then defeated the Bai Family Ancestor in a destructive battle that killed Qing Dai and left Ji Meng injured.

Jiang Man advanced in the Return to the Void Secret Realm, rescued Nanyue, and dealt with threats to Ji Meng before taking charge of Spirit Spring Mountain. As he pursued cultivation and reforms there, Ting Fengyin revealed further tasks and a way to increase spirit-water production, while Qin Luoyang finally came to meet him.

• Jiang Man freed the altar at the Broken Temple, then defeated the White-Haired Man and the Short Woman when they attacked him and tried to abduct Nanyue.
• Jiang Man found a gap in the barrier around the pool, drew in a vast tide of Void Aura, and advanced through the Nine-Star Series as his companions advanced too.
• Jiang Man learned that Nanyue had been captured, located her with Dongfang Yan’s Compass, and rescued her from the Heavenly Demon Clan before delivering her to True Person Taihua.
• Jiang Man drove off Ji Meng’s direct-line rivals, demolished Ji Yezhen’s mountain peak with the Greater Yang, and learned from Ji Meng that Myriad Things Spirituality could endanger him.
• Jiang Man was appointed to manage Spirit Spring Mountain and began using evidence from Gao Chunyang and Immortal Maiden Liuchu to expose corrupt workers, leading to repeated Enforcement Hall arrests.
• Jiang Man received a task to break through the Ascension Stage within fifteen years, but Ting Fengyin told him Meng Qiewei was still alive and asked him to find her husband.
