"You and I are both hall masters now. We are equals in status," Chu Fanyin said.
"Here, we go by seniority alone, not status," Huang Xiao said with a smile. "Hall Master Chu is still my senior."
"Huang Xiao is right. You, Chu Fanyin, are his senior," Shi Hen said with a hearty laugh.
"All right, then I'll trade on my age for once," Chu Fanyin said, smiling too.
