After Han Shuo left this territory of the Dark Elves, the five Dark Elf women worked together to drag the bodies of Adair and several elven elders into the lowest cellar. They announced to the others that Adair and the elders had gone traveling in the surface world.
A few days later, tens of thousands of little spiders suddenly gathered in the cellar, as though every little spider in the entire Dark Elf territory had assembled there. No one knew how they had entered the cellar, and none of the Dark Elves in the territory noticed.
Millions upon millions of little spiders packed the entire cellar, writhing madly over Adair's corpse. Each spider spat out a thread of strange power onto her body. After spitting out the power they carried, the little spiders shriveled up and died, one after another.
This continued for some time. The millions upon millions of little spiders that had poured into the cellar all spat out the power within them, leaving every last one shriveled and dead inside the cellar.
Adair's withered corpse slowly crumbled away. A few days later, only a white skeleton remained, but a thumb-sized bead shimmering with a blue halo had appeared inside her skull. The bead brimmed with the lewd, evil power of the Spider Goddess Lolth that Han Shuo had once absorbed.
One day, the Blue Bead suddenly shot out hundreds upon thousands of blue threads, plunging them into the corpses of the elven elders. Like tubes conveying liquid, the blue threads actually drew wisps of blue light out of their bodies.
In just a short while, the corpses of the elven elders had all turned to drifting ash. Late one night, the Blue Bead slowly slipped out of the cellar and flew toward the Temple of the Spider
